"What are you going to wear for the homecoming?"

I turned to Sierra who was happily munching on an apple and shrugged.

"Are you even going?!"

"Nope."

She glared at me and suddenly smiled. For some odd reason, her smile gave me shivers.

"Not on my watch, honey."

"What will I even be doing there? It's not like anyone will notice my absence."

She raised her eyebrows at that and I rolled my eyes. I huffed and raised my hands in surrender, "Okay, I'll go but what do I wear?"

"Leave that to me. I'll take care of that one. When school closes, we'll go to your house for some few things and we'll head over to mine, deal?"

"Deal." I muttered.

She clapped and squealed happily and I groaned. I was so not ready to be someone's mannequin.

I tried running away immediately the siren wailed. I made it out if the school unscathed and sighed in relief.
Now to the bus station, and finally my bed.

I smiled and turned around at the sound of a car's horn. My smile dropped right away at the cheeky grin on Sierra's face. There goes all my efforts. I tried running but remembered that she had a car and I wasn't a robot so... I sat in the car.

When we got to my house, I rushed in to inform Kevin because I knew he wouldn't allow me to go only to be disappointed.

I tried giving him the 'Please-don't-make-me-do-this eye but he smirked and mischievously gave me the go ahead.

Dejectedly, I climbed upstairs to my room to pack. After packing, I looked around and with a sigh, exited the room. I bumped into Justin and froze.

I was so not ready for this. I made a dash for it immediately he opened his mouth. I rushed downstairs and out of the house into Sierra's car.

We drove towards her house -if you could even call it that. It was a mansion and a fine one at that. We entered and my things were sent to her room by a butler. She dragged me to the kitchen where we ate some really delicious pastries.

After that she whisked me to her bedroom. It was fairly large and really tidy. She forced me to take a bath and redid my nails. She curled my hair and did my makeup. I returned the favour but I didn't curl her hair since she already had curly hair.

We goofed around a bit before dressing up. When she brought out six inch heels I shook my head and cowered away. I wasn't ready to break my teeth nor my neck.

"Don't be so dramatic, Nic. They are just heels. They don't bite."

"You won't be saying that when I lose all my teeth."

She held her stomach and laughed until I took the heels and wore them.

For six inch heels, they were oddly comfy. We both stood in front of the floor length mirror and scrutinized each other.

"I would definitely do you if I was a guy."

I scrunched up my nose at her remark and she burst into laughter.

"Chillax, I don't swing that way. Besides, I prefer my head still attached to my neck."

I turned to her and cocked an eyebrow.

"Oh, you don't know, do you? Justin sent out a warning to everyone that you're off limits."

I stood there for quite some time as my brain tried to process this.

"But ... why would he do that?"
I asked Sierra.

"I think he likes you." She said with a shrug.

"So his bullying antics is a way of showing his affection? Interesting."
I sneered.

"Maybe he has reasons--"

"Oh no, no, no, don't you go defending him. You're supposed to be on my side, not his." I cut her off.

She blew me a kiss and winked. I flipped her the bird and she burst into laughter.

"Let's go, Will is here."

I groaned at the thought of third wheeling and she caught on and sent me a sly smile.

We took some pictures and exited the house. We entered Will's Range Rover and we sped off to school. The homecoming was taking place at the school's auditorium.

They had really outdone themselves with everything. My eyes immediately went to the snack table once we entered. Sierra saw where my attention was and we both smiled.

Will pulled Sierra back and pointed to the dance floor. I burst into laughter at the pained look on her face as she turned to me for help.

I wanted to but when I saw Will's facial expression, I put up my hands in surrender and scurried away.

When I got to the food table, I looked at all the delicacies and honestly, it was hard to make a decision.

I stood there for quite sometime, and just decided to try all. I was quite invested in my task when I felt a tap on my back.

I turned around and was met by Ian in a tux.

"You look handsome."
I blurted out and immediately covered my mouth. My mouth needs a filter. He laughed and asked for a dance.

"If you hate your toes that much then fine..."

"I'm sure you're not that bad." He said.

We got to the dance floor and he was right. I wasn't that bad. I got the hang of it soon and I was enjoying it. We danced and spoke for quite some time.

He said something funny and I threw my head back and laughed only to make eye contact with a fuming Justin glaring my way.

I gulped and turned to Ian with wide eyes. He noticed my distraught state and guided me away from the dance floor. We went for some drinks and I could still feel Justin glaring my way.

Ian received a call so he moved out to take it, leaving me to Justin's mercy.

I frantically searched around for Sierra and Will but they were nowhere to be found. He started to move towards me and I could only stay rooted to the spot with my heart thumping loudly in my chest.

A/N

Before you guys decide to kill me, I can explain. I was at boarding school and I didn't have my phone with me. I only came home on the 25th of August and my mind and life was in disarray so I couldn't pen anything down.

But, I think I'm recovering now so I'll try to write more, kk?
