I get up from bed at my usual wakeup-time. I brush my teeth and go about my morning chores. I then prepare breakfast after I'm done and set the table.

After taking my bath, I put on my school uniform, black boots and my bag which I packed yesternight. After running a brush through my pin straight hair, it's go time.

I step outside the gates after successfully avoiding Kevin and Layla. You might be wondering why though, right?

Well, I'll tell you anyway.

"It was a beautiful morning, reminding me of the fact that it was also my first day as a sophomore. And dare I say, in a new school. Dressed in my school uniform, I slung my backpack on my left shoulder and descended the stairs with a fake smile plasted on my face only to come face to face with a beaming Layla.

She gives me a hug, though it was different from my moms,  the warmth was still there. I hugged her back and then we both pulled away.

She wished me good luck and said some encouraging words to me. I smiled as genuine smile and tried to walk past her. My attempt to walk past her only proved to be futile when she dragged me back by my arm. I winced a little from the impact it had on my arm.

Though I wasn't badly hurt from the accident, I dislocated my left shoulder bone. And my body still ached a little.

I pulled a confused face at her actions but she just smiled at me and motioned with her fingers for me to wait a little.

I tilted my head to the left when I heard footsteps approaching.

I watched in awe as Justin descended from the stairs in his school uniform. The boys uniform was similar to ours excluding the skirts.

I let out a little giggle at the thought of Justin wearing a skirt. But... I guess my giggle wasn't so small like I thought since it drew the attention of everyone present at the hall which included all the Campbell family.

I hid behind my hair only to realise, it's in a ponytail. Soon their attentions were diverted and I could breathe again. I quickly undid the ponytail for safety measures.

The clearing of Layla's throat drew everyone's attention to her. She gave us all charming smiles which had Kevin's mouth carving into the biggest smile I've ever seen.

Okay. I might be exaggerating but hey, you could see the man was on cloud nine. Layla wished her sons and daughters well and dropped a bomb on me.

  The bomb?

Well, she said I should join Justin in his car since its my first day of school.

Justin's gaze snapped towards me and I could see the arrows and bullets shooting from them.

I gulped and opened my mouth to protest only to receive an order from Layla to lock my cage.

I nodded with a slump of my shoulders admitting defeat. I could see what she was trying to do. Ever since I came to stay with them she's been trying to pair me up with Justin.

She won't take a hint that her beloved son hates my ass.
Since I had no choice, I went along with her son.

The inly thing j have to say is that that was the worst car ride I've ever had. The glares and insults I received was something you wouldn't wish on your greatest enemy.

Also, he knew I had just been in an accident yet he sped like crazy and it took everything I had not to jump out.

I hadn't even realized I had got to school until the screeching of cars and chatter of the students reached my ears. Bracing myself for the worst I entered the building.
