18 April, Saturday

After I got discharged, I was brought into my uncle's house which was..... quite comfortable. I felt a change in my mood and my heart felt light. I no longer felt like a pathetic orphan. Maybe that was the magic of their sweet and kindly nature that made the house cosy. After some days I got admission into a new college. My new professors were really nice unlike my old ones. I got to make new friends. It's like I started kindergarten again. Thanks to my uncle and aunt, I feel alive and free again. Maybe God did have better plans for me.

I have started a new life. A normal life, I hope.

7th May, Thursday

I was walking back home from my academy. I looked at my watch which read 7:45 pm. Not too late. Aunt must have been fretting because I got late by 15 minutes. The area I live in is not too populated, so she must be really scared if someone tried to-........

Is that blood?! (Yaseen's thoughts)

Blood was oozing out of his nose.

Maybe it's because it was too hot toda-

Yaseen clutched his stomach as he vomited blood. He fell to the ground as his vision blurred.

"What is this happening?" He thought. He tried to get up but all in vain. Taking out his phone from his pocket, he hurriedly dialed the ambulance's number. He felt all of his energy draining.

"Hello. This xxxx helpline. How may I help you?"

"H-h-elp. I-I need... Help. N-nea-rby t-the xx c-c...colon....." the phone fell from his hands as he passed out.

He lay on the ground, blood all around him and smeared on his face.

He lay there, helpless.
