Tim's alarm blared in the early morning, signaling the start of a new day. Rubbing his eyes, he rolled out of bed and made his way to his son's room. It was time to wake Theo up for school.
"Theo, wake up!" Tim called out, giving Theo a gentle shake. However, Theo merely groaned and mumbled in response, refusing to open his eyes.
Tim's sense of urgency grew as he glanced at the clock. They were running late, and if they didn't leave soon, both of them would be tardy for work and school. Panic started to rise within him as he tried to rouse Theo again, shaking him a little more firmly this time.
"Wake up, Theo! We're going to be late!" His voice held a note of frustration.
Finally Theo woke up and went straight to the bathroom
Theo walked in the kitchen after he brushed his teeth and washed his face, he saw his dad making cornflakes for him
"Here eat that after that we have to leave or we will be late" Tim said and putting his shoes on "Also did you think about today? We can do whatever you want" Tim asked Theo
"Yes it's ok for me we can go to the food truck in the park?" Theo said with a tired voice
"That sounds great! I'm gonna pick you up after school, 2pm right? And now we really have to leave, come on" Tim said while walking to the door
They arrived at Theo's school, "Bye Theo see you later" Tim said and and continues to his work
At Theo's school
"YOO bradford" someone calls after Theo, he turns around seeing Nick
Nick is a class above Theo, everyone likes him but Theo? No he hates him
"What do you want from me Nick?" Theo said annoyed
"Look the stuff you got from Carl it was good i hope? But i need the money pretty fast" said Nick and had a skeptical look
"What? Why should i give you the money that Carl owes you?" Theo asked him
"I think you need to work that out with Carl because I'm just trying to get my money... So tomorrow morning 40$ or I have to think of something else" Nick said while putting his arms on Theo's shoulders "see you tomorrow bradford" Nick turned into the next classroom
"Heyyy Theo, what's up? Do you wanna hang out after school?" called Fynn across the hall
"I can't i have to go out with my dad and his new girlfriend, sorry man but next time. But Fynn, do you know that Carl owes Nick 40$ because of yesterday? Nick told me he wants it from me now." Theo asked Fynn
"Ah yeah he told me something about this but just give it Nick and next time you get the money back from us all." Fynn said while walking away
"But i don't have that money right now, Fynn please you can't just go now" but he had no chance because Fynn was already gone
Theo's Pov
Wow very helpful my friends i thought and at the same time i'm thinking about just going home i need to see if i have any money at home and today I really don't feel like going to school anymore
I'm walking to the school gate but stopped there cause I can't go home dad told me he will pick me up at school so i have to be here
5 more hours i have to survive here god help me please
