Toshiro and I decided to share our living space with them. Although we don't have a lot of extra room, we made it work. Hikaru would stay in my room with me, since there was enough space. Jei would sleep on the couch, or wherever he would prefer. I've never actually seen him sleep before.
Hikaru was under the blanket, laying on the inflatable mattress we had given her, and out by ten pm. She was so adorable, it made me think of Kyler.
I laid in bed for a while, thinking, while the child rested peacefully next to me. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fall asleep. Maybe it was because of the adrenaline after running from the cops.
I decided to just close my eyes and try to sleep.
