"I can handle myself!"| Youngest sister Ashley story

(Another adorable baby sister Ashley prompt, I thought I could squeeze the whole thing into one story instead of the usual separated ones

This is it..
First day of school, Pre-school to be exact..

On a bright sunny morning,
5 children were all preparing themselves for school in their shared bedroom. The oldest one; David, was helping his brother Bruce with his shirt, Lenny was fixing up his football helmet while Constance was helping Ashley with her ribbon.
They have already packed everything they needed in their school bags and their appearance were now tidy and neat, Suddenly a knock on the door was heard as Father opens it and walks inside to check up on his children.

"Well done, My delightful children. Clean and tidy as always and hopefully stay that way once you return home. Now, Come downstairs and eat your breakfast." He says as he exits the room and the children follow along with their bags.
Once they reached downstairs, they left their bags back at the living room couch and went back to the kitchen sat on their seats around the kitchen table.

Lenny had to help Ashley up on her chair as she had a hard time doing so, She was quite pouty about it and mad at her tiny legs so Constance just patted her head to calm her down.
They all then proceed to eat their breakfast as Father reads the newspaper, Everyone was peacefully enjoying their time and in 10 minutes were finally done with their food.

Their butler took away the dishes and put them in the sink as the children get down from their chairs, David had to help Ashley once more off her chair. She ran along wit her siblings back to the living room and get their bags as Father was already starting up the car, They were all helped into the car as they sat patiently and finally drove off to school.

Father manages to find a good parking spot and parked the car as the children helped each other getting out of their seats, Father takes their hands and helps them find their supposed classroom. They finally found their classroom as Father says goodbye to his children and left them to be dealt with by the teacher, She shows them around as they felt a huge wave of anxiety considering this is their first day in a new environment yet the teacher tells them it's a normal thing and has all the children put away their bags in their given cubbies and sit down on the colorfully-matted floor.

The whole time they've spent in the classroom was somewhat not so bad and was pretty entertaining to say the least,
It all stayed pretty much that way for the next few days as time passes on and the children had gotten used to the new school yet not everything was peachy and perfect.

Three bullies would always make fun of Ashley for being the shortest one out of all of them and teases her about being a prissy little princess just because she came from a rich stature, This had her in tears as her emotions became evident to her siblings.
One day in recess where everyone was outside playing, The three bullies came again to make fun of Ashley while she was playing on the sandbox.

Her tears were falling down her chubby cheeks as she tries to wipe them away yet they keep flooding out of her eyes, They laugh and call her a 'crybaby' yet they have not noticed the four silhouettes standing behind them.
The 4 children started pushing the bullies to the ground and kicked and stomped on them making the three yell for them to stop but to no avail.

Ashley just watched as her siblings were dealing with the three and tries to wipe her tears away once more, Once the four were down they pulled up one of the bullies by the collar of their shirt.

"Do anything to her, say mean things to her or even just look at her the wrong way, we won't hesitate to put you three down an empty well and leave you there to starve and rot.."
This was the first time the siblings were able to do such action and even to other kids, They had the most menacing voices a toddler could ever pull off and that terrified the pants out of the three bullies as they ran away from the children calling them 'freaks' and such.

Ashley was just in awe as she looks up at her siblings with their hands put out for her to reach, She grabs Bruce's hand as they smile at her gently as if nothing ever happened.
"Those awful brats won't bother you anymore but if they do or anyone else for that matter, Tell us immediately"
Her siblings looked so innocent yet their tone was very eerie yet she just hugged her siblings and blurted out 'thank you's to them.

It all continued that way from then on, After that incident they made a vow to protect their youngest sister from anyone who deems to be a threat.

Everyone at the pre-school feared them and were afraid to even look at their direction especially Ashley's...
As they continue with their pre-school life, the siblings began to be even more protective and more cautious when it came to Ashley.

She was always put first, given whatever she wants, her siblings always obliged to her every command and wished. It was all really appreciating from Ashley's perspective and she truly was grateful for her sibling's dedication and bravery, She didn't have to be scared nor frightened of anyone as long as she was by her siblings.

Yet once she grew older and became much taller than her two siblings; Bruce and Constance, She started to think that maybe she could start doing things on her own without the help of her siblings.

She then acted on her thought, started to be the one that fights for herself without any help, can get the cookie jar from a high shelf, get up and down from any surface, etc.

She became independent without her siblings yet they slightly disagree with it, They only want to protect her and be the ones that do things for her to ensure her safety.
She always argued to them about being too protective and she can do things on her own as she is older now but they kept saying that no matter how tall or small she was they were still her big brothers and sister and have the rights to protect her from the cruel world.

Sometimes they would always tell how they missed their baby sister being so adorably small and wished she stayed that way a little longer but assure her she was perfect even if she was taller than two of her siblings.
She was constantly told about that as she got sick and tired of it, always rolling her eyes as she kept hearing the same words over and over again.

Noticing how she started to hide her feelings and sometimes ignore their comments and thoughts, They all decided to let her be herself for a while as long as they stand by her just to watch her become the independent young lady she deemed and was supposed to be.

They would let her control their missions as well as let her do things for herself now as she started becoming more adventurous and started showing how she was more than capable to fight for herself as they witnessed their baby sister grow up. Sure it was quite hard to get used to it sometimes but of course, they love their sister and trust her with all their might.

As long as she was happy, they were happy. That's all that really matter to them..
