"Babe?" I walk down the stairs to my house after my shower looking for where Lizzie is at. Then I barley see her head from the couch as she's laying down, "There you are darling" I walk over to her and notice she is peacefully asleep with Holly curled up on her chest also napping. "So cute" I smile taking my phone out of my pocket and snapping a quick photo of them. I shove it back into my pockets then give Lizzie a soft kiss on her forehead. Then I kiss Holly on the head trying not to wake her. I see her little eyes open for a moment, she yawns and then quickly falls back asleep. I start walking towards the kitchen when I hear a knock at my door. So I walk over towards the door, assuming it's Ryder or even Xander just coming by for a visit. I open the door and my heart stops.
"Hey Y/n. Miss me?" Haylie smirks standing in front of me with her arms crossed.
"No. You need to leave. Get the fuck away from me." I glare at her and go to slam the door in her face but she stops me placing her hand on the door.
"I don't think so. I know you miss me, I told you we're never really done babe" She winks and blows a kiss to me.
I scoff in disgust flinging the door open more nearly making her fall. "I don't miss you. And we are done. Forever. I'm done with your abuse. Go find someone who actually enjoys it." I go to shut the door again but this time she practically kicks my door to keep it open. "Piss off seriously."
"Deep down you know you still love me. And I love you so much babe. Come on, you know we were good together." She steps towards my placing her hands on my chest.
"Don't touch me, and don't call me babe." I tsk pushing her hands off of me. "I haven't loved you in a long long time. And I don't know what kind of fucked up world you live in, but we were never good together. I am done with you. Get the fuck out. I'll call the police if I have to." I have my hand firmly grasped on the front door ready to slam it in her face.
"Are you kidding me!? Are you really choosing her over me!?" She raises her voice, I know where this is going.
"Keep your voice down. Yea of course I am. I have no love for your abusive ass so get the fuck out of my life." I bite my tongue as her face turns red with anger. I can practically see the steam spewing out from her ears.
"How dare you talk to me like that!" She yells lifting her hand up to strike me. I clench my jaw ready to stop her from hitting me. But before she can swing Lizzie coms out of nowhere holding Holly in one arm and grabbing Haylie's wrist with her free hand. "What the hell!?"
"Touch him and I'll fucking kick your ass." She glares at her clenching her jaw. I smile over at her then she placed Holly in my arms now standing in front of me. "I suggest you get the hell away from my boyfriend before I make you."
"Let go of me!" Haylie rips her wrist out of Lizzie's grip. "I'm not scared of you! He will be mine!" She yells but all Lizzie does is laugh in her face which makes her even more pissed off.
I can see in her eyes she was going to do something to Lizzie so I quickly get between them pushing Lizzie behind me softly. "You're not touching my girl. I don't ever want to be with you again let alone even see you. I will never ever be with you, I'm not taking your abuse anymore. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to spend time with my amazing girlfriend and our adorable little puppy. If you don't leave in the next minute I'm calling the cops and they can deal with you."
She begins huffing and breathing heavily, her face still red with anger. "You're going to regret this Y/n! I'll make you're life a living hell!" She spits at me.
"You already have. Now get off my property." She groans angrily and storms off back to her car. I slam the door holding Holly close to my chest then turn around. Once I turn around I'm immediately met with a loving kiss from Lizzie.
"Are you ok?" She checks holding my face in her warm hands.
"I am I promise. But you, as much as I appreciate your protection you can't do that. She would've definitely hurt you! You have to be careful." I frown as she just smiles and shakes her head.
"I wasn't going to let her hit you my love. I know you're a grown man but still." She giggles as I lean down pressing my lips against hers.
"I love you so much, I hope you know that" I smile softly, wrapping my free arm around her waist.
"I do know. And I love you too, so so much" She smiles bringing me in for another kiss.
"Do you mind if we go back to your house for awhile?" I query.
"Not at all. Why don't you lay down with Holly and I'll pack you and her a bag." She smiles kissing me softly again.
"You don't have to darling, I can do that." I chuckle as she shakes her head and begins pushing me back towards the living room.
"No no I'll do it. You lay here and cuddle with Holly, it'll make you feel better." She puts her hands on my shoulders pushing me down, making me sit on the couch.
"Alright fine." I laugh as she smiles proudly and walks towards the stairs.
I lay down placing the now awake Holly on my chest. "Hey little one. Aren't you a happy camper now" I smile as she stands up wagging her tail. "It's only been a few days but you've already made your way into our hearts." She walks forwards and begins licking my face making me laugh. "Hey watch were you're licking!" I laugh blocking my face causing her to lay her upper body on my face still trying to lick me. A few minutes later Lizzie walks back downstairs with a bag for me and a smaller one for Holly. I hear her awe then out of the corner of my eye see her taking pictures with her phone. Time to go now Holly!" I grab hold of her while sitting up chuckling a bit as Lizzie slips her phone back into pocket.
"Ready my love?" She smiles as I stand up holding Holly in my arms.
"Yes darling, very ready." I lean down giving her a quick kiss.
"Off we go then" She kisses Holly's head and leaves with me following after her. I lock my front door and follow her out to the car. We both climb into the car and drive back off to her house.
