Finding You

Chapter 46

I sit in the living room staring at my opened laptop that sits on the coffee table in front of me. After staring at the laptop for a little too long, I decide to click book on two plane tickets. Not a few seconds later Lizzie walks through the front door. "Hey my love, I'm back!"

I quickly shut my laptop and stand up to greet her, "Hey darling" I walk over to her as she enters the living room and give her a soft kiss. "How was lunch with Scar?" I query while wrapping my arms around her waist.

She smiles and reaches up wrapping her arms around my neck. "It was fun to catch up with her. I feel like I haven't seen her in awhile." She kisses me lovingly then lets go and starts walking towards the kitchen. "You know she misses you too. She said you could've come along to lunch."

"I know," I say following her into the kitchen. "I just wanted to give you some girl time with Scar. The only other women you've hung out recently is my mum and Ryders girl." She stops at the fridge so I lean against the counter as she laughs a bit. "I'll come next time. Besides you need as much girl time as you can get, since you'll be spending all your time with me next week." I smile widely at her.

She furrows her brows in confusion while shutting the fridge. She turns to me as she opens the water bottle she had grabbed. "I will? Why's that my love?" Her eyebrows raise, waiting for my response.

Chuckling, I wrap my arms around her once again and pull her closer to me. "Well I was thinking that we should go on a vacation... So I bought us two plane tickets." She gasps setting her water on the counter next to us.

Then grabs onto my shoulders shaking me a bit making me laugh, "Really!? To where?"

"Guess" I chuckle kissing her softly.

Her face scrunches up as she thinks for a few seconds, "Hm... Hawaii?" She asks unsure of her guess.

"No. Think outside the country." I kiss her again, "Where would I want to take you love."

"Rome?" She guesses a little more confidently and excited this time.

"No. But judging by your reaction I'll put Rome as a vacation for another time." I let out a laugh as she sticks her bottom lip out at me. "Want one more guess darling?"

Lizzie nods quietly as I just smile widely back at her. She squints her eyes at me while scanning my face for any hints. It didn't take her long before she gasped again then smirked at me. "Is it London?"

"Bingo"

She then grabs my face kissing me passionately. "I love London! You're the best!" She wraps her arms around my neck again pulling me into a hug.

I hum happily hugging her tightly back, "I was thinking of showing you round where I grew up before moving here."

"That sounds great! I can't wait to go! Especially if it's seeing where you grew up." She pulls back grabbing my face and kissing me over and over again.

I laugh enjoying her excitement while pulling her closer to me. "I'm glad you're so excited darling. I was a little nervous you'd be nervous or something."

She lets out an exaggerated gasp and pushes me back playfully. "Now why would I be nervous about a surprise trip?" I just shrugged which made her laugh. She grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me softly towards her. "I will love every surprise you have for me"

"I'll keep that in mind love" I kiss her softly while swaying us back and forth.

"When do we leave then?" She queries slowly wrapping her arms around my neck once again.

"Our flight is Sunday morning. So we still have a couple days to pack, no rush" I smile down at her as she cups my cheeks in her hands.

"That may be true but let's not wait last minute to pack ok?" She says with a stern look while also squishing my face.

I laugh and grab her wrists, "We won't, I promise. Now stop squishing my face" I take her hands off my face as she giggles and give her a kiss. I hear my phone go off so I pull it out of my pocket and see the time. "Oh shit I have to go get Xavier. It's his last day of school and I told him I'd pick him up."

"Ok honey, I'll be here waiting." She pulls me closer getting on her tip toes to kiss me.

"I'll be back, I love you!" I kiss her again and then start walking to the front door.

"I love you too, drive safe!"

"I will, I promise" I blow her kiss as I grab my keys then leave out the door. I go to get in my Honda when I realize I grabbed my Porsche keys. "Well this works out better" I chuckle to myself walking over to my Porsche. I get in and drive off to Xavier's school to pick him up.

I pull up to the school just as everyone was getting out of their last period class. I see the kids staring at my car as they walk past me. I keep looking around to see if I can spot Xavier coming out from the gate. Then I see him walking with a small group of people with a huge smile on his face. He spots me and waves then turns to his friends saying bye to them. With that he runs over to the car and opens the door quickly getting in. "Hey!" He buckles his seat belt as I just look at him smiling. He looks over at me with a concerned, "What? Why are you staring at me like that? You're kinda creeping me out Y/n."

"Nothing, I just haven't seen you smile that much recently. Especially when it has to do with school" He gives me  another 'you're weird' look making me laugh. I put the car in drive and start off to my parents house. I think to myself for a few minutes then look over at Xavier. "Hey, do you want to come over for dinner? I'm sure Lizzie would love to see you. Besides we will be gone all week next week so."

"Sure, I'm always up for Lizzie's cooking. But why are you going to be gone all week?" He queries looking over at me confused.

"I'm taking a little trip with Lizzie to London. Back where we used to live" I chuckle as he gasps.

"What!? I want to go! I miss London!" He huffs crossing his arms and pouting like a child.

"You can't go it's a romantic trip with my girlfriend." I laugh and roll my eyes at him. "Tell you what, some time after the baby is born we will go on a big family trip back to London. Me, you, Lizzie, our baby girl, mum and dad. Deal?"

He sits silently for a few minutes then looks over at me and nods. "Deal."

"Good. Now let's keep going, Lizzie's waiting." I laugh and turn right to head back home.
