"Stupid party. Stupid people. Stupid socializing. Stupid social anxiety. Stupid food that wasn't even good." I muttered quietly to myself, my crossed arms hunched in front of my chest as I speed-walked home. I had just gotten back from a stupid party for one of my friend's friend's celebrating their 9 months of being sober. I figured I'd just go for the food, but noOo0O! The food wasn't even good! Plus, the people were annoying, and my friend's friend just kept talking about themselves, bragging about how much closer they are to my friend then I am with them, and just being a little bitch-face in general. Stupid fuckin' little motherfu-

Drop.

Drip.

Drop.

A raindrop fell onto my nose. I looked at the ground and saw little raindrops that were tinting the sidewalk. The puttering and pattering of the raindrops sped up, louder and louder. Great. It was raining. I sped up my walking pace so I could get home faster. Luckily, home was just a few more blocks away. I started running towards the door, relieved to finally be home until I tripped and face planted into a puddle.

FUCK I REALLY CAN'T BE HAPPY IN LIFE CAN I?

I grudgingly got up and limped to the house. As soon as Rocky heard the door creaking open, he looked in my direction and his face lit up. "Y/NNNNN~!" He ran over to hug me. I would've let him if I wasn't dripping in dirty street water.

"Sorry Rocky, not now. I kinda... slipped on the way home." I gestured to my ruined outfit, a bruise I got on my cheek from the fall, and my wet hair.

"I don't care, I wanna hug my y/n!" He hugged me, ruining his own outfit. At this point, I didn't even care, I was so tired I just rested my head on his shoulder, not even lifting my arms to hug him back.

"Awww, darling..." Rocky muttered, seeing how tired I was. Suddenly, he ducked down and picked me up— bridal style, of course. His body was so warm and soft... I could've slept in his arms right then and there, but before I knew it, he was placing me onto the floor, but this time, in my room.

"Alright, just change into something less wet and more comfortable, and meet me in the living room later! Okaythanksloveyoubyeeeee!" Rocky shut the door behind me. I softly chuckled at his silly shenanigans before changing into a comfy outfit and going to the living room like Rocky asked me to.

I saw a display of my favorite snacks on the table with a note on top of the mountain of snacks. I picked up the note and read Rocky's messy handwriting.

"HI Y/N! THIS NOTE IS HERE TO DISTRACT YOU FROM ME CREEPING UP BEHIND YOU RIGHT NO-"

I felt Rocky hug me from behind. I chuckled once more at his quirkiness.

"Your laugh is adorable, Y/n..." Rocky muttered as he picked me up again, put me on the couch, and laid down next to me. "Feeling better?"

"Not yet... I think you just might have to add one more thing..." I suggested, insinuating more affection.

"Oh yeah? And what would that be...?" Rocky cupped my cheek with one paw and wrapped another around my waist as his eyesights zeroed in on my lips.

"Let me show you..." We both leaned in and kissed. It was sweet and soft, not forced or uncomfortable. It lasted for about 5 seconds before I pulled away. Rocky smiled at me and started peppering my face with kisses, occasionally kissing my neck here and there.

"R-Rocky- heh, cut it ou-" Rocky interrupted me by placing another kiss on my lips to silence me.

"I will never stop loving you, darling!" We both laughed and I nuzzled my face into his fluffy chest. Might've been just me, but I think I heard the soft rumbling of purring coming from Rocky. My smile widened, my eyelids becoming heavy as I started drifting into a nice, peaceful slumber.
