Felix squinted his eye's, trying to make out the figure in front of him, "Hyunjin?"
"Uhm, yeah. Are you alright?" Hyunjin hesitantly said, holding a hand out to help Felix up.
Felix let out a dry chuckle, "Yeah, I'm fucking amazing! Sorry for running into you..." Felix's voice trailed off as he grabbed Hyunjins hand, helping himself up before bowing quickly to Hyunjin, walking past the boy.
Hyunjin watched as Felix walked down the sidewalk, unsure of what to do. He could tell that he wasn't alright, but Hyunjin had never been good at comforting others. Maybe he should call Chan? He knew the two of them were pretty close...
"Felix! Wait!" Hyunjin called out before he could stop himself. Felix turned around, watching in confusion as Hyunjin jogged over to him.
Hyunjin sighed, "Do you want to talk about it?"
Felix furrowed his eyebrows, "What are you talking about? I don't need to talk about anything."
Hyunjin ran a hand through his hair, wondering what the hell he had gotten himself into. "Felix, I can tell you aren't okay. I just figured you might want to talk about it, maybe get out of the rain for a while?"
Felix bit his lip before softly saying, "Really?"
"I'm offering aren't I? Besides, I don't want to go home yet and I have a craving for ice cream." Hyunjin said, glancing around for the closest convenience store.
Felix smiled softly, nodding his head at Hyunjin's offer.
"Alright, now put on your hood before you catch a cold. Follow me, I think there's a place we can get ice cream over here." Hyunjin said calmly, gesturing to Felix's hood before walking back down the sidewalk.
Hyunjin and Felix walked side by side down the sidewalk, an awkward silence falling over them as the rain slowed to a stop.
Hyunjin broke the silence as he muttered, "You know, in order to talk about it, you kind of have to talk about it..."
Felix sighed, "I know... I just, ugh, I don't know, I'm just so mad at myself."
"Why?" Hyunjin pressed on, starting to feel curious.
"Do you remember how I have-" Felix caught himself, "had a crush on Wooyoung?" Felix asked him, almost feeling embarrassed.
Hyunjin frowned, "Uhm, I think so. No offense but I didn't really pay attention when you were always talking about him though."
Felix smiled at how honest Hyunjin was, finding it somewhat refreshing. "Well, I've liked Wooyoung for a long time now. It started a couple months ago when we were partners for a project. I have literally spent the last few months trying to get closer with him in hopes that he would like me too."
"Uh oh, I feel like there's gonna be some drama." Hyunjin said jokingly, trying to cheer up Felix.
"Oh trust me, it's coming." Felix reassured Hyunjin before continuing on. "Anyways, we were supposed to hang out tonight, so I finally built up the courage to tell him how I felt..."
Hyunjin sighed, sounding oddly serious as he said, "Let me guess, he was abducted by Aliens."
Felix lightly smacked Hyunjin's arm, "No! Let me tell my story! You wanted to listen!"
Hyunjin raised his arms in defense before signally Felix to keep talking. Felix laughed lightly, "Like I was saying, before I was rudely interrupted." Felix stops walking and turns to face Hyunjin, putting his hands on Hyunjin's shoulders.
"Hyunjin I don't think you're ready for this." Felix dramatically explains.
"I will try my hardest not to scream." Hyunjin says, placing a hand over his heart.
