Awkward was the only possible way you could describe the atmosphere around the boys, as they waited for their Uber.

While the silence was slightly uncomfortable, it did allow Felix some time to think by himself.

It had only been a few weeks since him and Hyunjin had gotten close. In that time, he was making his best efforts to get over Wooyoung and move on. But that wasn't exactly the easiest task.

In all honesty, he could picture himself being with Hyunjin, just not right now. If anything, the fact that Felix wasn't completely moved on from Wooyoung simply wasn't fair to Hyunjin.

Felix and Hyunjin sat side by side on a wooden bench just outside the theme park.

The smaller boy secretly glanced over at Hyunjin, a faint smile slowly crossing his face.

But, maybe this time with Hyunjin was exactly what he needs to finally move forward...

On the other hand, Hyunjin's mind was, well, all over the place.

While one part of him was excited for what was to come, the other part of him didn't really know how to get there.

Hyunjin peeked over at Felix, wondering if he should say something.

What even was there to say?

Surprisingly, Felix was the first to speak up. "So... how are we going to do this?"

Hyunjin let out a small laugh, "I was just wondering the same thing."

Felix nodded his head, hesitantly saying, "I know this was your idea, but I really do want us to work. I hope you know that."

Hyunjin couldn't help but smile, "I'm glad."

Before he could convince himself otherwise, Hyunjin carefully reached over and grabbed Felix's hand, holding it firmly.

Looking down at the hands, Felix let out a satisfied sigh.

And as the silence took over once more, it wasn't awkward. It was almost hopeful.

Hopeful that this was the right decision.

Once their Uber arrived, the pair carefully climbed in, reconnecting their hands once more.

As they neared closer and closer to Chan's house, they both silently dreaded splitting up. But neither of them could actually say that.

Once arriving at their friends' house, they both slowly collected their things, enjoying their last few minutes together for now.

The pair hovered outside for a moment, both of them standing beside both of their cars.

"Well, I guess I'll see you later." Hyunjin slowly spoke, setting his bag down to give Felix a hug.

Felix softly smiled, leaning into Hyunjins hug, "Yeah..."

As Hyunjin finally pulled away from the hug, turning to go to his car, Felix couldn't help himself.

Felix quickly grabbed Hyunjins' arm, gaining the boys' attention. "Wait, Hyunjin..."

Hyunjin nodded his head, maintaining eye contact with Felix, silently begging him to say it.

"Why," Felix hesitated before gaining the confidence, "Why don't you spend the night again...?"

Hyunjin didn't even try to hide the smile forming on his face as he nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that sounds great. I'll follow you to your house then."

Felix smiled, "Okay."

***

Felix carefully opened his front door, Hyunjin just behind him. The silence still hung over them, neither boy knowing exactly what to say.

Hyunjin glanced at the clock, turning to face Felix as he spoke. "It's already 10:00 at night, we should probably go to sleep. We do have school tomorrow."

Felix nodded, making his towards his room, grabbing a change of clothes. "Take whatever you want from my closet, I'm going to shower quickly."

Hyunjin hummed in response, scanning through Felix's closet.

Felix turned the nob for the faucet, making sure the water was hot before getting in.

He slowly washed his hair, allowing it to take away all his stress.

20 minutes went by before he finally got out of the shower. Drying off before slipping on a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

He slowly made his way down the hall, unsure if inviting Hyunjin over was a smart plan or not.

Felix slowly opened his bedroom door, gasping softly as he saw Hyunjin.

The taller boy laid on Felix's bed, wearing only a pair of white sweatpants.

Felix flushed red, "Why aren't you wearing a shirt?"

Hyunjin smiled softly, sitting up as he replied, "Well, how else am I going to make you like me?"

Felix bit his lip softly, his eyes bouncing back and forth from Hyunjins bare chest to his face.

Hyuniin slowly stood up off the bed, grabbing Felix's hand softly as he led him over to the bed. "C'mon angel, it's not like you didn't already see this yesterday in the pool."

Felix let Hyunjin lead him to the bed, deciding not to comment on the new nickname.

"It's just different now." Felix spoke softly, eyeing Hyunjin once more.

Hyunjin watched how Felix gazed down at him, absolutely loving how it made him feel.

After a second, Felix pulled his gaze away, speaking softly, "We should go to bed, it's getting really late."

Hyunjin nodded his head, making himself comfortable before opening his arms for Felix.

Felix stopped for a moment, unsure if he should or not.

Hyunjin smiled, "It's okay, Felix. I won't bite." Pausing before adding in, "At least not yet."

Felix bit his lip, carefully lowering himself into Hyunjin's arms. He was immediately pulled closer by Hyunjin, making it so Hyunjin was laying on his back, and Felix was almost on top of him.

Hyunjin sighed softly, playing with Felix's hair as the both drifted off to sleep.

"Goodnight Angel, sleep well." Hyunjin spoke gently.

Felix smiled, "Goodnight Hyun."
