Who Knew?

Chapter Three

Hyunjin gazed out the window in his math class, thinking about the night before. Would his relationship with Felix go back to normal now, or would things be different? Felix did say he wanted to hang out with him again. But was it too soon? After all, it was only one night and Felix wasn't exactly feeling the best.

Hyunjin sighed, focusing back on the teacher until something vibrated against his leg. Checking his phone, it was a message from Felix.

Lee Felix: Hey Hyunjin, it's Felix! I need to talk to you at lunch! Also, don't mention anything about last night to the other guys!

Hwang Hyunjin: Sounds good.

Hyunjin sighed as he looked down at Felix's text. I guess normal isn't happening.

Hyunjin sat at the lunch table, glancing up at the doors every few seconds as he waited for Felix. All the other boys talked loudly, catching each other up on school drama.

Hyunjin was gazing at the door, starting to zone out when a small brunette walked through the doors. Hyunjin slightly smiled as Felix made eye contact with him, watching in amusement as Felix rushed over to the table.

Felix slammed his stuff down at his seat saying a quick, "Hi guys!" before running over and grabbing Hyunjin's hand, quickly dragging him away from the others and out into the hallway.

"Did Felix just steal Hyunjin?" Seungmin asked carefully as the group watched the odd pair run out of the cafeteria.

"And Hyunjin actually went with him?" Jeongin added in, squinting his eyes in confusion.

Han turned to face the boys as he asked, "I didn't think they were friends? I mean, I have literally never seen them speak to each other before."

Chan and Minho stared off at the space Hyunjin and Felix once were, both of them with their eyes wide in shock.

Chan was the first to speak out of the two of them as he loudly questioned, "Did Hyunjin just let Felix hold his hand?!"

Minho nodded, the shocked look still on his face as he turned to Chan, "I think he did... he never lets us touch him though..."

"Huh." Changbin stated calmly, never feeling so confused in his entire life.

Felix panted softly as he stood before Hyunjin in the hallway outside the cafeteria. Hyunjin looked down at the boy kind of skeptically as he waited for Felix to speak.

"Okay, I know you don't think you're good at this stuff, but I really need your help." Felix said quietly, glancing behind him.

Hyunjin raised an eyebrow as he responded, "Why don't you just ask Chan or someone about this? I really am not good at this stuff."

Felix sheepishly smiled, "Well, I kind of haven't told anyone else yet." Hyunjin opened his mouth to speak, a confused look on his face, but was interrupted by Felix. "I know it sounds weird! I just really don't want them to know. Honestly, it's kind of embarrassing, and you know them, they would all make a super huge deal about it."

Hyunjin shrugged, agreeing with Felix. "Okay, I wont tell them or anything. Now what's the problem?"

Felix ran a hand through his hair before explaining, "Well, last night after I left, Wooyoung texted me." Hyunjin sighed, wanting to say something but he allowed Felix to continue. "Basically, Wooyoung told me that he could tell something was wrong with me that night and how he knows that I needed to tell him something at the café..."

"Felix, please tell me you did not." Hyunjin said sternly.

"I might have told Wooyoung that I liked him, and that the reason I was acting weird was because I didn't know he had a boyfriend so I was really upset. But I made sure to clarify that I'm really happy for him and that I'm leaving my crush in the past!" Felix rushed out, trying to explain everything quickly.

Hyunjin literally faced palmed as he spoke, "Felix! Why would you tell him!"

Felix sighed, "I don't know! It felt right in the moment, but now I'm freaking out because I have my next class with him!"

"Yeah, that's going to be awkward." Hyunjin said softly, trying to think of a solution for the boy.

Felix closed his eye's, leaning back against the wall as he quietly replied, "I'm doomed. This is going to be so embarrassing. I just wish I didn't have to go today."

"Well..." Hyunjin started to say, turning to stand in front of Felix, "You don't have to go."

Felix raised an eyebrow, "What are you talking about?"

Hyunjin smirked as he casually replied, "You know, I was planning on skipping the rest of the day. You could always come with me?"

And for the second time in less than 24 hours, Hyunjin was suddenly smothered in a hug from Felix. "That would be amazing! Thank you Hyunjin!"

And again, for the second time in less than 24 hours, Hyunjin hesitantly wrapped his arms around Felix's waist, returning the small boys hug.

"You sure do like to hug a lot." Hyunjin mumbled once Felix had let go.

"You're just too amazing not to hug." Felix said, trying to tease Hyunjin.

"Oh shut up."

"Never."
