I wake up. I find myself still in Berry Bitty City, smiling in relief. But then, I immediately begin to feel nervous.

This is the day.

Cherry Jam is going to show up... or not. I'm going to be thinking about it all day, and I know it'll be a problem. But it's out of my control. And I can't tell anyone else, because it's a surprise. I only hope Cherry pulls through, even though we won't be able to pay her anything.

I get out of bed and stare into my mirror. My hair is a mess. I can't allow that. I think about dropping by the salon, and have Lemon work her magic.

Me: You are gonna get a makeover...

I yawn as I head downstairs. I hum the Strawberry Shortcake theme song as I unlock my door. I open the door and take a step out. I feel the morning breeze against my face. I hear the birds chirping along the clear sky.

I smile so much.

Had King Vorthrax not been stopped, all this would be gone.

But I disregard that evil being and head to the salon.

(Step, step, step)

I reach the front door and knock.

{knock knock knock-knock knock}

I hear this.

{knock knock}

I chuckle to myself as Lemon opens up. She is still in her pajamas, letting me know she just woke up too.

Lemon: Hellooo...

Me: Hey... Did you just wake up...?

Lemon nods.

Lemon: Mm-hm... What's up...?

Me: Do you think you're awake enough to fix my hair...?

She sees my hair.

Lemon: Sure... But first, I need a cup of lemon tea...

Me: Okay... Shall I prepare it for you...?

Lemon: If you want...

I head inside and, under her cabinet, take out a box of lemon tea. She hands me a kettle and I fill the thing up with water, from her sink. After a while of letting it heat up, I pour the hot water into two mugs, and insert the tea packets.

Lemon and I take a seat, allowing the tea to fix.

Me: Are you excited for the grand opening...?

Lemon: Oh, yes... I don't know what we're going to do for it, though...

I think back to Cherry.

Me: Do you know what... people would want...?

Lemon: I wouldn't... We haven't really decided on anything regarding the grand opening...

Me: Well, whatever it is, it has to be... sensational...

Lemon smiles at that word, because it's her favorite.

Lemon: Sensational...

I finally grab the two cups and take one to Lemon.

Lemon: Mm, thank you...

Me: You're welcome...

I decide to spill a little to Lemon about Cherry.

Me: What if... We had some sort of musical event for the grand opening...?

Lemon seems interested.

Lemon: Like... singing?

Me: Yeah. And we could have someone from, like, far away come here and sing.
