I went to the back house to take a shower since I was sweaty. I came out and seen Demi in the room.

"hey, I wanted to see if you were OK"

"yeah I'm fine why" I asked looking for my clothes.

"cause I jumped on you" she laughed.

"oh I'm fine it was funny anyways" I said

I was going back in the restroom to change until Demi got my wrist.

she seen them.

"I told you, you can talk to me" she said hugging me but I backed up a little cause I was still in a towel.

"I know but these are old, its OK" I said even though I did have some new ones in my legs.

"its not OK perla" she said holding both wrists.

I stood there, quiet and ran to the restroom. I changed to my clothes and sat on the floor and cried. I thought I locked the door and Demi walked in sitting next to me.

she then held me tight that I can feel her breathing.

"tell me everything"

I took a second."it all stared when Adrian left I thought I lost my best friend"

I can't believe I told her everything from grade school to middle school till high school. i was crying so much.

when i was done crying I looked at Demi who she was crying to.

"Demi", I said as she wiped my tears.

"please don't tell Adrian, kalena, or Lupe I'll tell them when I'm ready"

"he knows, he was the one that helped me"

"stop cutting and start eating, please for me. I don't want to lose my best friend" she held me tighter.

"yes you are"she smiled and kiss my cheek.

when it looked like I wasn't crying we went in my uncles. a man was standing in the doorway.

"Eddie" demi and Adrian yelled.

they ran to hug him. I realized who that was, Demi's step dad.

"hi" he tells everyone but then looks at me and puts his hand out to shake.

"you must be perla" he said with a smile.

"yes, I am"I said putting my hand out to shake his.

"really thank you" I said

"so I wanted to see if you want to sing with Demi and sign with Hollywood records." he said for my responce.

then he hands me a contract.

"OK, is your mom here or dad"

"no this is my uncles house, but can I call her so Adrian can sign."

"sure" he said handing Adrian the contract.

we looked at my phone to see if she would pick up.
