WHY

Perla's pov-

Demi has asked me to be her girlfriend. Now I don't know how to answer that. She's an incredible person and all, but I'm scared. Scared of getting my heart broken again.

She loomed at me waiting for an answer. I pressed my pale lips together, to a fine line, thinking how I'll answer that question.

"Demi" I faintly said. "I love you, a lot but" she looked done. " but I'm scared. Scared of getting my heart broken again. I just healed from what happened with Bryan." I slowly lifted her chin. I scrunched my nose in pain. She helped me lift her chin, as she seen me struggling." but promise to never leave Demi" she started smiling.

"does that mean yes"

"it means yes" she bit her lip in happiness. She grabbed my face and kissed me. I yelped making her stop.

"did I hurt you"

"yes, but who cares" I grabbed her cheeks bringing her to a kiss. I felt her lips curl to a smile. We Brooke the kiss, and stared in each others eyes. She smiled warmly and rested her head in my shoulder.

"I'm sorry" she said. I looked at her confused, until I felt her play with my bandages around my arms. I sighed and kissed her head.

"don't be" I held her hand. "I just....I don't know" she looked up at me and wiped the tears that were rolling down my pale cheeks.

"I don't want you crying. Tell me later" she kissed my forehead. I nodded and smiled.

After a couple minutes we heard someone knocking on the door.

"come in" Demi said. The door slowly opened, and Vanessa poked her head before entering, with a big Teddy Bear.

"hey baby" she ran next to me. Her eyes were red from crying. They began to water as she ran her fingers through my hair, trying not to mess with the bandages, were I had surgery. "how are you feeling"

"I'm in a bit of pain, and weak" I smiled trying to get her to smile. I felt her wrap her hand around mine. Demi got up from bed and kissed my head.

"I'll be back" I nodded and watched her leave. Vanessa stared at me scared and nervous.

"what's wrong Nessa" I asked.

"nothing babe, you just scared me. I honestly don't know what I would do without you" she caressed my cheeks, with tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Nessa, I would never leave you guys. I love you" she gently bent down and hugged me. She held me tighter and tighter taking the air out of me and the pain increased. "Nessa, my body hurts" I struggled to say. She let go and looked at me.

"I'm sorry" I smiled. "Perla?"

"Yes"

"you would tell me anything, right" I looked at her confused.

"of course, what's wrong" She didn't want to speak. She stood quiet, holding my hand tightly. She licked her lips nervously looking for her question.

"when I came to see you, you were still in the coma, I was covering you and I seen marks on your arms" a worried look appeared on my face. She had seen them. She took a deep breath before going on. "why didn't you tell me"
