Perla's pov-

A couple days have passed, And stuff between Demi and I are still the same. Awkward. I'm just glad Vanessa is staying with me, or else I'll be the third wheel with Adrian and Demi.

"hey babe, want to go for a Starbucks" Nessa asked. she always called me babe, and because of her, that name stuck with me when ever her or her sister called me.

"sure"

We got to Starbucks next to the mall. It was kind of close by my house. We ordered our drinks and we waited on a booth before they called our names.

"you alright" she asked placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I don't know" I said. I didn't know if I wanted to tell my cousin my biggest secret.

"Vanessa and perla" they called out. We got up, got our drinks, and sat back down.

"babe, what is it"

"Nessa" I said before taking a sip of my frapechinno. She looked at me to proceed. "how do you feel about... gay people" I asked. She shot me a weird look. Her answered matter the most. she was my cousin, my sister, my partner in crime, best friend, and also like a mom.

"Well, it doesn't matter, there just people like you and i. I don't judge people if they like the same sex, its just not me." I huge sigh of relief escaped my mouth. I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulder. "why babe"

"cause I don't know if I am, and I was scared you weren't going to talk to me anymore or wost, hate me" She got up as a tear escaped my eye.

"I wouldn't stop talking to you if I had to, your my sister, and of course I wouldn't hate you, I could never hate you, and if your bi, lesbian, straight I don't care, I will still love you" she hugged me tighter. I seriously had the best cousin in the world, and for once I felt happy. "so, what made you think you are"

The question I didn't want to hear was being said. I sighed and told her the story how Demi and i kissed at my birthday, when Demi took me to the beach, til when Demi and I we're kissing or making out in my bed ready to take off clothes.

" wow" was all she said.

"I know, and i don't want anything awkward between us, but" i said stopping

"Her boyfriend, your brother"

"My brother, and if he found out what is going on with Demi and I he'll definitely hate me. we just started talking again after six years. I don't want to loose him again" I buried my face in my hands.

"Listen babe, just be Demis friend for now, move on with someone else, until Adrian gets tired. like always does" she was right I guess. I nodded.

We went home seeing them in the couch all cuddled up. My heart ached at the sight. I sat with Nessa on the other couch trying to watch the movie, but couldn't. I got up and leaned in,Nessa's ear.

"I'm going to my room" she nodded. I walked in my room and slowly closed the door.

Demis pov-

This is just great, I finally had perla were I wanted her and it gets ruined, by my boyfriend. its been a couple of days and nothing has changed. I fell for her and i can't control my feelings. Every time she talks to Vanessa or Adrian, I listen to their conversation just to hear her voice. I love walking around her hallways and see pictures of when she was little til now. She still looks the same beautiful. I need her. I'm going to try and talk to her tomorrow.
