OVERALL - overall, Newt is just a very confused, young cat. He's learning how to appropriately express his feelings, and how to control them. He has fairly strict parents who just want him to be his best. They've been pushy, but they claim it's all in good nature. But due to his parents, he arrives to be perfect. He hasn't yet realized he doesn't need to be perfect to be a good warrior.
He's a very curious and loyal cat, who tries to act as confident as possible, even though he's slipping inside. He's courageous, not afraid to help those in need.

CLAN LIFE
KITHOOD- although it wasn't awful, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows either. As kits, he and his siblings were never allowed to play around if their father was around. He always said it made them "look too weak" if they were playing around. Having that stripped away made them all a little apathetic at other kits.
APPRENTICESHIP- being out of his father's full control gave him some freedoms, but he still feels as though his father is breathing down his back. Having the fear of his father watching him all the time has caused him to try to make everything perfect.
