THIRD POV
And so for the next few days, Althea began to pack her things. Going over all of her papers once again to shift her business over to Italy. It was annoying to do it all over again and she hoped she wouldn't have to make it a third time.
As she finished filling up some papers she began to get ready. Today was the day. The day she would officially tell her dear father that his youngest daughter was a vampire. And so was his oldest. She wished she could do it with Bella, but she refused. Stating that telling him was a mistake and that he would get hurt. But Althea felt otherwise. The main fear was that the Volturi would hurt him, but that was out of the window now. So Bella's denial, it was confusing.
For the past few days, Bella and Edward's interaction had been nothing but tense. She noticed it right away. No longer choosing to sit beside one another or direct their attention to one another. It slightly worried her, had it been her fault? Was she ruining the family her sister created?
It wasn't something she wished to do. If her spilling the beans is what caused their behavior, then she was sorry for it. But it didn't change the fact that they weren't true mates. At one point, they'd both meet their other person, and it would be a heartbreaking conversation. The sooner the better I suppose. But still, the guilt was there and she tried to push it aside.
Since it started to get pretty cold already and she couldn't feel temperatures the way humans did, she opted for a short black dress with thigh high boots and a thick coat to keep appearances.
Her plan was to speak with him in private in his home before calling her mates to come and meet him. If everything went well, then he would understand why she had to leave. And she could hopefully have a good relationship with him even in her absence.
She walked downstairs as she finished putting her hair in a high ponytail, letting some pieces in the front frame her face. She gathered her purse and keys as she settled to say goodbye to the family. But once again, Bella had something to say.

ALTHEA'S POV
"You can't do this. Please", I sighed in frustration. "No. You won't change my mind", I said as I crossed my arms. She shook her head as she paced.
"You don't understand. He deserves to live his life happy". I scoffed at that, "And you don't think that spending his last days questioning why his daughters don't visit him anymore is going to lead him to happiness? Get a grip Isabella. You're doing more bad than good. You have a second chance to repair your relationship with your father and for some reason you don't take it. I'm starting to think that his safety isn't what you're worried about", I stated as I shook my head at her. Her eyes grew wider as I spoke, as if she was caught doing something she didn't want someone finding out about.
