THIRD POV

For the rest of the week, Althea had spent every waking moment with the kings. Going on multiple dates with them, getting to know them as individuals.

Aro was the second to ask her out on a date. Opting to take her to a carnival. And much like Marcus, she introduced him to adding blood to food which Aro marveled at. If he could've, he would've fallen in love with her even more.

They spent the night trying every ride, going multiple times in the ones they liked. Aro bought her all the sweets and junk food she wanted without hesitation. Even joining her once he could add blood. Though he was sad he couldn't try the cotton candy once he figured out it would just melt, leaving him a pouty mess.

They'd had their first kiss in the ferris wheel, cliche. But nonetheless, the night was beautiful. Many young couples roaming around without a care in the world. And Aro couldn't help but feel giddy at the fact that he was actually going out on a fun date. With every other women he took out, they'd only ever wanted to go shopping or to fancy dinners.

Not that he would have any problem with doing the same with her. In fact, he would go to any and every shopping trip she'd asked for. Bought her anything her heart desired. If he could hand her the earth, god knows he would.

But he was having so much fun. And he could admit that he had never been able to do the same with anyone else. He loved it. He loved her.

Althea's first date with Caius was romantic and calming. He was a simple man, often stoic and possessive. He didn't pursue many conversations with people because he felt there was no need. Especially the fact that he felt as though no one was worthy enough to talk to.

But he found himself being able to, with her. He loved the fact that she could challenge him. Others would do whatever he wanted without having to ask twice. She defied him at any chance she could. She was strong and went for what she wanted.

He decided to take her out in a picnic with a boat ride. Which surprisingly for her, he steered. She expected him to hire someone to do it, yet he didn't.

It was a beautiful site. The night was young and the stars were bright. She was awestruck at the view of Italy through the water. So many shining lights, restaurants and clubs full of people enjoying the night by the water.

They talked for hours. About what they liked and so on, and soon enough it had ended too soon. They walked on the way back to the castle, and as they walked in silence they found themselves leaning in and kissed. It was an amazing feeling. To kiss your own soulmate. Sparks flew everywhere as they did so.

And by the time they departed, each to head to their own room. He found himself missing a part of himself. That warmth that was embracing him all night long was gone. And that usual cold, came back.

ALTHEA'S POV

This past week has been nothing but amazing. I spent so much time with each one of them, whether it was a date or hanging out. I felt so loved, I had my first kisses with each of them and it made me feel so giddy. But that was as far as our intimacy went.

By now, I had gotten the hang of things, gotten to know who they were.

I have now started to walk around the castle all on my own without having the need for an escort and it felt great to have that sense of privacy and freedom. Unfortunately I hadn't talked to the many vampires that roamed the castle. Since the day I have arrived, they seemed to just disappear from my sight. The closer I got to the kings, the more they came around. I've only gotten as far as smiling at them, not leaving much room for conversation.
