Natalie was going on a run with some of the members with the group and Merle, and Daryl was getting ready to go on a hunt.
"Lee, be careful. 'kay?" Daryl said.
"Okay." Natalie nodded.
He was protective of her and she didn't really care. It was the end of the world, so...she didn't really mind. They both wanted to be together all the time because they never knew when they were gonna die.
"Can't 'ave ya gettin' hurt." Daryl mumbled.
"I will. Besides, Merle is gonna be there. He won't let anything happen to me." Natalie said.
And that was true. Merle would never let anything happen to Natalie. She's like his little sister and he's like her older brother.
She has a twin brother that she also remembers but she didn't know if he was alive or not either. She also has a little brother, but didn't know if he was alive as well.
She had hoped that her father was dead. She didn't know if her mom had beaten cancer or if she died.
"A'ight." Daryl said before kissing Natalie's forehead.
Natalie soon walked to the tent to get her katana, three knives and two guns along with her backpack.
"Ta-Ta! Let's go!" Merle yelled.
Natalie rolled her eyes and went to the truck with Merle. Daryl watched her and everyone else leave before leaving himself to go on his hunt.
Later, while they were scavenging some food in a market, Natalie saw oreo cookies and many other types of candies and snacks. She grabbed all of her favorites and put them in her backpack—well, Jayda's backpack.
