Daryl's legs were on my lap as he was poking holes in the screen window with an arrow while Skylar was drawing on my arm.

"Hey."

I looked up and saw Andrea, a glare immediately setting in my eyes. "Go away." I muttered under my breath.

She walked in and sat down across of us. "This is not that great, but..." She said, holding a book out towards Daryl.

It was 'The Case of the Missing Man by Jimmie Herron'.

Daryl put the arrow down on his chest, grabbed the book and started flipping through the pages. "What, no pictures?" He asked and looked over to Ms. Barbie.

"I'm so sorry. I feel like shit." She said, shaking her head.

"Hmm. Is that the only thing you're feeling?" I muttered, but Skylar heard me as her head turned towards mine.

Daryl put the book down. "Yeah, you an me both." He said, fixing his pillow.

"I don't expect you to forgive me. But if there's anything I can do..." She said, looking at him.

The only thing keeping me from punching her again right now is Skylar. I looked down at my niece. She was so invested in what she was doing.

"You were trying to protect the group. We're good." Daryl said and I scoffed under my breath after I looked up. Andrea got up and walked out of the tent. "But hey," He said. She turned around and looked at him. "shoot me again, you'd best pray I'm dead."
