Chapter 4. Goodnews

"Good morning Mr Greg" . I said while trying to avoid his eyes

"Come to my office now". He said with a straight face

I immediately followed him. When we got to his office, I sat down opposite him

"Danielle...you have two weeks more to complete your overtime work to compensate for the advance salary you took".

I nodded my head

"So do your work properly unless I'll have no choice but to increase the weeks and lateness to work is not acceptable". He added

"Yes sir and sorry sir". I replied quickly

"You may leave and start your work immediately". He said

I stood up and I left his office

I quickly changed into my waitress outfit.

I noticed that Gael and Kara wasn't in the restaurant so I called Gael.

"Hello...where are you and Kara?". I asked over the phone

"Mr Greg asked us to buy some things for the restaurant...we'llbe back soon". He replied

"Ok...see you soon". I said and I hung up

I served the customers.

After a while, Gael and Kara arrived

"Hey Dani". Kara called and I went to meet them outside

"What's up guys?".

"Cool". Gael and Kara answered simultaneously and we all laughed

"The boss said he wants to make an important announcement now". Gael said

We all went to his office including the other staff in the restaurant

"You all have a day-off tomorrow because the restaurant needs to be repainted". Mr Greg announced

I was super happy

After working overtime and at the bar area, I freshened up and I prepared to go to the club.

I went outside and I saw Gael.

"Gael I'm ready to go". I said as I grabbed one helmet and I wore it

He smiled at me

I climbed the motorcycle and I placed my hands on his shoulders and with my chest pressed to his back.

Gael breathed heavily as Dani's chest pressed to his. He drove the motorcycle and suddenly there was a speed bump and he climbed it roughly. So Dani fell closer to him and face touched his neck because of the impact and Gael breathed heavily again.

They finally got to the club and Gael came down quickly to catch his breath.

"What happened Gael...why are you breathing heavily?". Dani asked and she pulled the helmet and came closer to him

"It's nothing...let's go inside the club and start working". Gael replied nervously

He walked away quickly and I stood there wondering what just happened.

I shrugged and I went back stage to style the dancers.

I styled all the dancers except for Mia, I couldn't find her backstage

"Deena...have you seen Mia". I asked

Deena is Mia's close friend

"She's outside".

I nodded and I went outside and I spotted her talking with Gael.

"Hey Mia...I haven't styled you yet...it's almost time for you to perform". I said as I got closer to them.
