BEAUTY IN THE MIDST OF TWO PRINCES

Chapter 11. Divorce

Alexa was discharged from the hospital after some few days then she proceeded to filing for a divorce and she submitted the petition to the court and it was granted. She immediately went to her husband's company to give him the divorce papers.

Alexa walked into her husband's office majestically and she flinged the divorce papers in front of him.

He stared at the paper and looked back at her with anger on his face.

"Alexa how dare you! I'll make sure I'll teach you a lesson". He said and he stood up to slap her then she held his hand and pushed him back on the chair

He looked at her in shock.

"If you dare touch or harm me ...I'll press charges against you and you'll regret messing with me". Alexa replied and she snapped her fingers and pointed at him angrily.

"Fabian! Sign the divorce papers unless I'll press charges against you for domestic violence, assault and most especially killing our unborn child". Alexa shouted and she placed her two hands on the desk staring dangerously at him.

He sat there in shock, he was confused.

"Alexa which child are you talking about...you are barren and infertile so how could you conceive". Mr. Garcia screamed at her and he stood up

Suddenly, Alexa gave him a slap on his face and the sound of the slap rented the air.

"How dare you say such horrible things about me...you killed our unborn child, I pleaded with you that night not to hit me because I was pregnant but you pushed me and I had a miscarriage". Alexa screamed angrily and she continuously punched his chest.

"You are a beast, Fabian! and I hate you". Alexa said and she pushed him again

He staggered and he took a pen and signed the divorce papers immediately with intense anger.

Alexa dragged the paper and she walked out of his office with anger on her face.

Mr Garcia sat back on his chair and he couldn't believe what just happened in front of him.
I need to find out who or what gave Alexa this courage, Mr Garcia thought and he immediately made a call to one of his men

"Make sure you follow Alexa and update me on everything she does and who she meets". Mr Garcia spoke over the phone

"Yes boss". The man at the other line replied

And he hung up

Alexa immediately headed to the court for the marriage between her and Carlos.

She arrived at the court and she spotted Carlos already waiting for her at the front of the court with a box in his hands

She came down from her car and she walked towards him with smiles on her face.

"I'm here with the divorce papers already". Alexa said

Carlos smiled and he opened the box in his hands and brought out a white veil.

Alexa jumped up in excitement and she took the veil from his hands and wore it over her head

"Thanks so much babe...this is the best gift ever". Alexa said with tears in her hands and she hugged Carlos.

Carlos smiled and he immediately submitted the divorce letter to the court Judge

Carlos and Alexa got married immediately with Muloy as a witness to their marriage.

They both signed the marriage certificates and they were officially married.

"Babe, we need to complete the final part of the plan, which is to collect the business deal papers from your ex husband...if he signs this deal with the international companies, his company will be among the top 5 most successful company in the Philippines". Carlos said and he caressed Alexa's face.

"But do we really need to do all this besides I've gotten a divorce and I'll obviously get half of his property...so I've actually made him loose alot". Alexa replied and she stared at him

What is this woman saying, all my plans cannot go down the drain. Carlos thought inwardly.

"Babe, Please let's do this besides he put you through a lot of pain". Carlos replied and he continued caressing her cheeks.

"I feel like you are using me to get the business deal". Alexa said abruptly and Carlos eyes widened in shock.

"Why would you say that...it means you don't trust". Carlos replied and he brought out two passports from his pocket.

"Babe, these are our passports to travel to the United States...I will never go back on my promises and love to you". Carlos replied and Alexa held the passports in her hands and she smiled.

"If you get the business deal from him... we'll also have enough money to open a big foundation and an orphanage in memory of your dead child". Carlos said and he looked at her waiting for a reply.

"Babe I love you too much...I also thought of opening a foundation and an orphanage but I don't have the funds but we can use this business deal to get the funding for it". Alexa said and she hugged him.

Finally my plans are in motion, he said inwardly and a small grin appeared on his face.
