Dani cried for over 30 minutes, then she heard a knock on the door, She didn't want anyone to disturb her right now, so she didn't give any response.
Gael walked in and he sat beside her.
"Dude you totally just walked into a girl's room without waiting for her to reply". Dani said sternly and she cuddled her blanket even more.
"Ok I'm sorry but I've never seen you this irritated and pissed". Gael replied and he pulled the blanket away from her.
Dani sat up and she folded her arms and legs
"Aren't you late for work". Dani said and she stared at him intensely.
Gael burst out laughing
Dani scrunched up her eye brows and pouted her lips.
"You aren't good at being rude at all besides I have about an hour before work starts so I'm here to cheer you up". Gael replied
"Gael, I'm not feeling good at all right now...I feel like giving up, I feel like I'm a piece of trash that can't accomplish any single thing in life". Dani said and she breathed heavily.
"But I can't give up because I have lots of dreams to accomplish and most especially I have to do this for my mum's sake because her health is deteriorating everyday... today just made me feel like a loser". Dani continued and she sighed loudly
"It's fine to feel this way...but you shouldn't just sit here in your room crying all day, step out and look for more opportunities....if this didn't work out, another will surely work out for you". Gael replied and he placed his hands on her shoulder .
"you are the most hardworking girl ever and I believe in you Dani". Gael added then Dani smiled and she got out of her bed and she cleaned her eyes from all the tears that gathered.
"Thanks Gael...you are the best best friend and amazing big bro ever". Dani said and she hugged him
She always calls me big bro, Gael thought inwardly and he frowned
"Start going to work... I'm off to look for a job right now". Dani said and she pulled away from him.
"I could use my sexy looks on Carrie and she could automatically give you a job". Gael replied and he smirked
Dani laughed and she hit his arm
"Are you a player now...Gosh just focus on your job". Dani said and she laughed again
"I look like a player but I'm not...I'm more of a sexy, hot dude". Gael replied and he flicked his hair backwards and raised his eyebrows
Dani burst out laughing again
"You are so dramatic...let's get going player boy". Dani said and she dragged him out of the room.
She looked around but her mum wasn't around.
"Your mum has already gone to the market to sell clothes". Gael said and she nodded.
Gael drove off in his motorcycle while Dani entered the public transport heading towards Metro Manila.
She highlighted at the bus stop and she walked along the street looking around earnestly for any job vacancies.
Then she saw an event centre with many expensive cars driving in then she decided to go in.
"Miss...do u have an invitation to this fashion show". The security guard asked as she was about to go in through the open gate.
Her face shown dejection
"No I don't". She answered and she turned back to leave when the guard stopped her.
"Miss, Are you looking for a job here". The guard asked and Dani's face lit up and she nodded
"Ok you can go in...go through the back door and turn right and then you will see the manager's office". The guard explained
"Thank you so much...I really appreciate". Dani replied and she gave the guard a handshake with a smile on her face.
I guess all hope isn't lost, Dani thought as she walked towards the back door.
She got to the manager's office and she knocked, after a few minutes, she heard a female's voice " come in". Dani breathed in and out and she stepped in.
"Good morning Ma'm". I greeted the lady sitted in front of me
She looked like she could be in her mid fourties, she had blonde hair and she stared at me intently adjusting her glasses.
" Morning miss...what can I do for you". She asked
"The security guard outside told me there was vacancy here and I'm in desperate need for a job". Dani answered
"Are you a stylist because we are also in desperate need of a stylist right now...the stylist we hired hasn't arrived yet and the fashion show starts in 45 minutes". The lady said whilst placing her hands on her glasses.
"Yes I'm a stylist Ma'm". Dani replied with excitement on her face.
"You are hired". The lady said and she stood up from her seat.
Dani squealed happily
"Shusshhh... squealing isn't allowed here besides Ma'm Caitlyn is on her way so you should get started on styling the models". The lady replied and Dani waved her hands apologetically.
The lady signaled Dani to follow her.
They got to a dressing room upstairs and all the models sat at each dressing table getting ready to be styled.
Gosh, this dressing room is so much bigger than the one at the club, Dani thought as she stared at the place excitedly.
"Get to work stylist girl". The lady said and I nodded
"What's your name". The lady asked
"I'm Danielle Almeda but just call me Dani". I replied with a smile
She nodded
Dani put on an apron and she started styling the first model. She had to style over seven models and she had only 45 minutes to get everything done before the show starts.
After 35 minutes, Dani was done styling over five models.
"You are doing a good work... keep it up". The lady said and she tapped my shoulders with a smile on her face.
Suddenly there was loud shout from outside the dressing room.
The lady immediately ran towards the door.
"Who let that foolish stylist into the building...she had the audacity to come late and she's trying to plead with me". Caitlyn shouted. " Amelia, call the security guards and ask them to throw her out". She said in frustration and the lady nodded.
Dani heard the persistent shouting and she couldn't help but notice that the voice sounded familiar.
The guards came in and took the stylist away.
"Amelia where's the new stylist you hired". Caitlyn asked as she stepped into the dressing room.
"She's here Ma'm". Amelia pointed towards Dani
And their eyes both hit each other and they stared at eachother in disbelief
"You!!!". Caitlyn said and she pointed towards her.
Dani just stood looking dumbfounded
"So you are a stylist girl...huh that's interesting". Caitlyn continued and she walked towards her direction with a smirk on her face.
Dani couldn't help but feel nervous
Why do I always see this lady everywhere, Dani thought inwardly and she breathed heavily.
