I made it a point to stay up until 12 too see Justin. I have wanted to ask him something since he told me he loved me. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I don’t want to be rejected or torn down. I have had enough of that. I need to just grow up and ask before it is too late. Things between Justin and I are weird. We just started to talk, he is a huge pop star and I am well, just some girl. I am as average as they come. There was nothing pretty about me. Nothing. It’s to good to be true that Justin meant what he said last night. That’s what I have to ask, if he meant it. I glanced over at the clock, 10:30.  “Time goes by so slow.” I mumbled as I rolled out of bed. I glided down stairs to see my mom and dad sitting on the couch, cuddling. What else it new. I walked up to the love seat, plopping down, hugging the pillow. My mom looked over at me and smiled.

“Hey Mom.”

“Hey sweetie.” She gave me a funny look.

“What?” I stared back.

“Your neck.” I gulped.

“What about it? I burnt myself with my curler.”

My dad butted in, “it better be because if someone did that to you, I will have something to do.”

I smiled. I didn’t want to lie to my parents, especially my dad. I laid back on the couch and watched tv with my parents until I saw the clock strike 11:45. I slowly got up.

“Where are you going Kay?” my mom sat up.

“I am going to go to sleep. Love you” I walked over and kissed them both on the forehead. I ran up stairs.  3: New Messages I opened them all. They were from Justin. I passed the time by just laying in bed, watching Friends on tv. Friends was one of my favorite shows.  The time passed by, I next was getting a call. Justin. I jumped out of bed, more excited then ever, I don’t know why it’s not like its my first time seeing him before. I looked out my window, I didn’t bother to answer the phone. I quietly ran to the door, locking it. I opened the window and climbed down the ladder. I ran a crossed the lawn to Justin sitting in his white Ferrari. I opened the door and sat in next to him. We both looked at each other and smiled.

“Hey Kayleigh.” He hugged me and I hugged back.

“Hey Justin.” We both exchanged grins. He turned on the music. “Do you want to stay here or drive up to the lake and look at the stars?”

“Let’s go to the lake. Do you have a blanket?”

“Of course I came prepared just in case that was what you chose.” I put his car in drive and the engine growled. He slammed on the gas, speeding away. The normal for Justin, always going fast.
