Chapter 35

“Come on babe! Tell me where we are going!” I groaned. “No!” he looked at me and just laughed. I sighed. We pulled up to the barn, it was tall and red, and all the windows were boarded up. He parked the car and got out, running to my side to assist me. “You had me dress up like this for a barn?” I rolled my eyes. “Babe, just wait!” he scoffed. He took me by the hand, leading me up to the barn. He pushed open the doors. “What…” I was in complete shock. Inside it had wooden floors; lights were streamed from the ceiling. In the middle there was a small table with two chairs, a candle and wine glasses. “How did you do all this in 30 minutes?” I looked at him with my eyes shot open. In the corner there was a pile of hay, lying over the hay was a blanket. “Well,” he hesitated. “I had some help.” He grinned over, nodding his head toward Pattie standing in the doorway. She waved at me and I waved back. “Take a seat,” he escorted me to the table pulling the chair out so I could sit down. He walked over to his chair, motioning for his mom to come over. Pattie brought over steak, and potatoes. It looked so good. “Thank you Pattie!” she smiled and nodded walking away. “You didn’t have to do this Ju-“ he cut me off “I know I didn’t but I wanted to make my girl happy.”  I smiled leaning a crossed the table, kissing his lips. Justin and I enjoyed our lunch, it was more then I expected but we had fun. We laughed and talked about random things. “Here, follow me.” He walked toward the hay. He pulled out a lighter from his pocket, lighting the candles that surrounded the hay. He took me by the hand once again, laying down on the blanket. When I followed and my back hit the blanket, I looked up and saw the cutest thing possible. On the ceiling were those glow in the dark stars that kids would use if they were afraid of the dark. I couldn’t help but let out a chuckle. “Really babe?” I looked over at his smiling face. “Well, I thought we could watch the stars, it would really make the perfect date.” He wrapped his strong arms around my body as I laid my head on his chest. “Justin?” “Yeah?” I sighed. “When do you have to leave?” he took a pause. “A week.” I held him tighter. “I don’t want you to leave me…” “I know and I don’t want too leave you ethier, but I’m going to be gone for a few months.” I just continued to rest my head on his chest, cuddled up in his arms. “I love you Justin…” “I love you to Kayleigh… and I mean that.”

Justins POV

I held this beautiful down to earth girl in my arms, I was so lucky to have her. She makes me feel so happy and free, she doesn’t feel like a fan at all, its seems like she was my best friend for as long as I could remember. I ran my hands through her hair, as she looked up at me smiling. She makes me seem so, alive. When I’m around her there isn’t a care in the world. Nothing could ruin this moment- then my phone rang. “Are you fucking kidding me.” She nodded at me, giving me an okay to answer. “Hello?” “Hey Justin!” “Hey Scooter” “Umm, I hope you don’t have any plans tonight.” “Why…” “Well, you have any other party to go too.” “Who?” “Demi’s” “Kayleigh is coming I hope you are well aware.” “Bieber, you can’t-“ I cut him off “No. She is coming or I don’t go.” “Alright alright. Fine.  Be ready by 7, the party starts at 8. Kenny will pick you and her up at your room.” “Okay man, see you later.” I hung up the phone throwing it to the side. She didn’t ask any questions. “Aren’t you a tad bit curious where you’re going tonight?” I smiled. “Um, a little bit I was hoping you would just tell me.” “Well, we have a party to go too.” “Yeah… and whose might that be?” “Demi Lovatos.” “What!? You’re kidding me right!?” she sounded so excited, she sat up. “I love her!” A huge smile crossed her face. “I’m dead serious Kay.” I felt her throw herself at me, wrapping her arms around me. “I am so excited!” she was jumping up and down. “I’ll make sure to introduce you guys.” “What time are we going!” “We have to be ready and at my place by 7.” “Alright!” I could tell by her reaction that this was going to be one of the best days of her life.
