Chapter 3

I wake up Thursday morning at 7 a.m. like any morning, but this morning is different Leo is coming over for dinner tonight and I just can't wait. After yesterday I don't know what the future will hold, but I know no matter what he'll protect me and I will him. I start getting ready for school and head down stair and grab a pop tart and a drink. I grab Casey since mom and dad are both now at work, and we head off to school. We get there and as always she heads off to see her friends and I look over and see the handsome man I like. I smile at him and he smiles back at me. Then I hear the annoying voice.

"Lukybear!!" Lily yells and I look at her annoyed "Lily for the last time stop! I don't like you and I never will so please just back off!" I yell at her and she glares at me. "Fine I guess then I'll just have to let the school know of your little secret." I look at her "what secret?" I asked nervous "The secret of you being gay of course, I know you've only told me and that little witch of a best friend. I will tell everyone even your parents." she says and I freeze. "W-what?" I say and tear up. (Yes people I know its 2023 guys its for the story and it happens)

"Yup I will so its either date me or I will tell your secret to everyone!" she says smirking. I sigh a little pissed "Fine," I say and she squeaks, and kiss my cheek. "See you in 3rd Lukybear!" she says and then I freeze again as she runs away third period... Leo's class oh no. I run to find Maddie

"Maddie!" I yell to her and she looks at me. "Yo what's with the 911 man what happened?" she asked and I explained what happened. "IMMA KILL HER!!!" she whisper yells since we are in class. "I don't know what to do, I don't know how my parents would react or the school. I mean seriously what can I do," I ask looking at her. "Look just try for now and we will come up with a plan okay?" I nod and sigh really not looking forward to 3rd period.

-Time skip to 3rd-

I look at Maddie and she gives me a reassuring smile and we walk in. I instantly smile when I see Leo. He smiles back and me and Maddie take our seat. Then lily walks in and my heart drops as she walks up to me and kisses me right on the lips. I throw up a little bit in my mouth as she pulls away. "Maddie you need to move so I can sit next to my boyfriend!" She says and I look at Maddie "No I can't this is my assigned seat Lily so go away," She said and lily pouts and kisses my cheek before going to sit at her desk. I sigh and look up to see Leo looking hurt. I start to tear up and put my head down as he starts to teach. Maddie puts her hand on my back and rubs it lightly. She leans down and whispers in my ear "It will be okay we will figure something out," she says and I nod slightly.

A little bit later class is about to end and Leo walks up to my desk "May I speak to you after class Mr. Henderson?" he asked sounding a little pissed. "Yes sir," I said not looking at him. I couldn't bare to see the look on his face. He walks away and I sigh a little bit later class end. Lily walks up to me "Since you have to talk to Mr. Parker I will see you at lunch baby," she said a gave me a quick peck and walked off. After everyone leaves he closes the door.

"What the hell was that?" he said sounding pissed. "Look Leo I can explain!" I said back "Well Mr. Henderson you better start explaining," he said and I start to tear up. "Look I snapped back before first today, and she said if I didn't date her then she would tell the whole school and my parents I'm gay," I tell him and his eyes soften. "Oh Luke," He rushes over and hugs me and I hug back holding him tight and I cry slightly. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry" I say to him crying. He lifts up my chin and whips my tears "None of this is your fault.. I'm sorry for being mad I just got jealous especially since what happened yesterday," he said and I giggle. "I would have been too so don't worry," I said back and kissed his cheek. "I want. to be with you someday after we know each other more. Not her Leo," I said and he smiled and kissed my head. "Okay go to class before you're late," he said and I nodded.

I headed to my next class and the rest of the day went fairly boring except for lunch when I had to deal with Lily kissing on me and being disgusting. I was so happy when it was the end of the day and I got to go home. "MOM DAD we are home!" I yelled "In the kitchen!" they yell back and we head there. "OH Luke honey could you go over to Leos house and let him know dinner is to be ready at 7," she asked and I nodded and headed over. I knocked on his door and he opened it and smiled.

I smile at him "My mother wanted me to let you know that dinner is at 7," I said "Alright would you like to come in for a moment?" he asked and I nodded. I walked in and I looked at him.. "Leo I don't know what to do about this lily thing," I said and he grabbed my hand. "I'm sure you and Maddie will find something out. You could always come out on your own. You know?" he said and I looked at him in fear "But I could get kicked out or bullied or I don't even know what." I said and he sighed. "Honey its 2023 I'm sure it will be okay," I nodded "Maybe me and Maddie can work something up." I said and he smiled and leaned down kissed me slightly. I pull him in for a deeper kiss and we stayed like that for a few minutes. "I should get going," I said and he smiled nodding. "I'll see you at 7," he said and I smiled. "bye," I said "bye" he said.

I walk over to my house and when I walk into the door I see the most annoying person ever. Lily..
