Chapter 4 : Friendships feel safer, there is a less at sake.
"Date me."
"Let's date, Park Haneul."
"From now on, we're dating..."
Haneul didn't even had enough sleep because of the thought that Daehyun wants to date her. Honestly, dating is not in her mind. Aside from wanting to concentrate on her dreams, she doesn't think this is the chance for her to consider dating during tough times. Another thing, her father owes a lot of money from Hoon's mother and that she needs to think about more than dating anyone.
She has so many obligations, and dating someone is the last thing on her list. Or maybe because of the boy she met 15 years ago? Ever since she met that boy, she has been devoted to him. She knows that fate would let them meet again and maybe when that happens, she would give dating a chance. Or maybe not? She just want to meet that boy after so many years of waiting for him to come to that hospital. She wanted to know about him, his name or what he's doing now. She wanted to know if he remembers her or if she ever had crossed his mind after a long time.
She maybe nothing to him but she has been waiting for 15 years, she hopes to meet him again every Autumn Rains. She did not forget about him who caused her to ran in the middle of a heavy rain that one Autumn, and that no matter how she hates it, she did it to save him.
Those long years she longed for him made her realized that she was meant to crossed paths with him so he could change her life and gave her courage. To face the rain. And that rain... she will only face it again, when they meet again.
Someone elbowed her, that snapped her out from her deep thoughts. She annoyingly glared at Daehyun who was already grinning at her.
"Wae?" she annoyingly asked.
Daehyun shrugged, "Do you have an umbrella?"
Haneul checked the sky. It looks like it's going to rain and good thing, she always has her umbrella with her. She looked back to Daehyun who was waiting for her answer.
"Wae? What do you want?" she unkindly asked.
Daehyun scratched the back of his head, "Can I share an umbrella with you? Until to the bus stop."
"So are you saying I should drop you again at the bus stop?" she sarcastically asked, "Until when are you going to do this?"
"Well, it's really going to rain, I don't want to get wet and be sick. My injury still hurts a little bit," he explained. "Share an umbrella with me or let me borrow it from you?"
"Aish, you're really making me choose, huh?"
He smirked, "As if you can..."
Right then, the rain started to fall so Haneul had no choice but to share the umbrella with him. As they walked through the rain, she couldn't help but complain since her least favorite thing is to walk in the rain. She would rather endure the Summer than walking or taking a shower under the rain. Only S.J knows about that. If S.J was probably with her right now, she might not have bring an umbrella and she might want to get wet again in the rain, just to meet S.J once again.
