Chapter 5 : Some things are too strange and strong to be coincidences.
One Year Later...
"Daehyun-ahh, are you sure it's okay to borrow your scooter?" she shyly asked, checking on Daehyun's scooter. "I don't even get why you traded your motor bike for this scooter."
He just chuckled then held her shoulders with both of his hands, "Yah, I don't want that motor bike anymore. Deh. It's better to use my scooter than commute, it'll save you more time. Arasso? I don't want you to be late on your first day."
"Awww, that's so sweet of you." She sweetly stated, "Gomawo, Daehyun-ahh."
Daehyun was surprised when she hugged him, he quickly pulled off from her hug and poked her forehead. "Yah, Haneul. You're not allowed to hug me. My admirers might see you and they might think that we're having a thing."
"Admirers my foot, you're the only who gives different meaning whenever I embrace you." She jokingly elbowed him, "Give me the helmet, please."
Instead of giving her the helmet, Daehyun pulled her closer to put the helmet on her head, she suddenly felt awkward. They have been friends for a long time. Since she denied his desire to date her, Daehyun keep his promise to stay by her side. They became best of friends. It was left unclear if he really liked her, did he explained. So she believed that all of his goodness were all meaningless because they're friends after all.
She knew Daehyun better when they became friends, she couldn't help but laugh whenever she remembered how much she hated Daehyun at first. He's not bad at all. He was a very good person. She also learned that Daehyun flew from America to Korea just to study Music. And she also learned that he was an orphan, an American citizen adopted him and raised him. He came back to Korea but not to look for his parents, but to live his life the way he wants to. And his foster father supports him.
"Good luck in your first day," he smilingly said, patting her head. "Work hard, arasso?"
She smiled widely, "I will work hard to deserve to be a producer. But, for the mean time, I'll appreciate being something else in that company."
"Drive safely." He advised.
She raised her hand for a thumbs-up, "Arasso! Annyeong!"

"Buongiorno! Come stai?"
He gently closed his eyes upon hearing his mother's cheerful voice.
"Sto bene, grazie. E tu?" he answered, "Did you drink your medicine?"
His mom chuckled, "Deh. How was your flight?"
"It went well. I really have to go now, Arrivederci." Then he hang-up.
He actually left his car at the vulcanizing shop, luckily, there is a waiting shed near the area so he waited there while drinking his coffee.
The rain started to pour and unfortunately, Haneul didn't bring any umbrella today. She looked somewhere to stay for a while, she don't want to get soaking wet because it is her first day on her job.
Fortunately, she found a vulcanizing shop. She pleaded with the shop's owner if she could stay there for a few minutes to wait for the rain to stop, the owner was kind so he agreed.
While watching the blast of the heavy rain, he noticed a guy running towards the shop. Haneul smiled. She suddenly remembered the boy she met before, it didn't matter if he could get wet.
Haneul didn't noticed that she was still smiling at the man, he just wrinkled his forehead and boredly looked at her.
