Your Scent

Gary was in Singapore along with Gil for days. Roaming themselves in their rented studio to work out with Gary's mini album. Gil was known as his good friend and a teacher as well who guided him most of the time.

A plate full of chili crabs was served on the table earlier were now piled up with the empty shells. It was their dinner for today. The time now struck at almost two in the morning.

Gary felt unusual since he had not seen Ji Hyo for almost a week. It's pretty odd since they both seemed close in Running Man but not in reality life.

He's desperate to give her a call, missing her beauty voice. He began to checked on the phone and stared at the screen in every minute. Gil who was spying on Gary from the back then gave him a sudden hit behind the head.

"Ya-Gae Gun!! What happened to you these few days?" "Can't get your mood on your songs? Still in the mind of Mong Ji??" Gil chuckled before getting himself sat right next to Gary.

"What?? Am not!!!" Gary kept his sight on the empty sheet while holding a pen in his hand. Pretending that he's scribbling hard on his lyrics to cover up his shyness.

"Dude.. You cant lie to me, Mr.Gary!! Your such a jerk in lying." Gil told Gary by giving him some strength who seemed like a fraidy' cat. "I watched you for the past 10 minutes, observing you staring at your phone all the time. Go give her a call then. Don't be such a loser."

Feeling stress at this hour, Gary tried to break it off with his work. His deadline for his mini album was so close that he need to work really hard to complete it.

"She might be busy.. It's best not to disturb her at this hour. Gil, let's just get back to work!!!"

Gary scribbled out some words,somehow he soon recognized that he was describing about Ji Hyo. Her appearance, gorgeous outfit and especially her scent that lingers around his head all the time.

How I like her so much that her human scent lingers around me.

Gary really want to get her out from the mind a little while in order to get his songs ready. Gary took off his LEESANG cap and banged his forehead hardly on the table a couple of times, letting out a scream.

"ARGH!!!! STREEEEESS!!!"

Their glass cups filled with drinking water were spilled on the stack of papers. It smeared the ink written on the paper that it was now unclear to be read. Gil couldn't take it any longer to see Gary who couldn't get his head straight in his work. He crumpled a clean sheet of paper and tossed it on Gary.

"Just move your ass and give her a call!! What the hell is wrong with you??!"

"I'm not calling her alright...What if-"

Gary's caller ringtone started to played loudly in the studio room. He looked on the phone screen and it was Ji Hyo who called. Gary wanted to race around the room with ecstasy but only finding himself stood frozen. With no guts in him to pick up the call.

Gil let out a small groan and helped Gary to slide the green button. He looked at Gil for a moment with his peaceful expression and slowly placed the phone on his ear.

"Hh-Hello??? Mong Jj-Ji??"

"Oppa... Mian hae. I called you at this hour." Her voice sounded cheerful in the phone. It melted his heart right away."Is just...I uhm- just wondering. Are you free to take part a small role for my drama? On tomorrow?"

Her offer really surprised him since this was the first time she wanted him to take a minor role in her drama. "Role?? Me? Are you kidding me, Ji Hyo?"

"Oppa... Did my voice sounded as I'm pranking on you? It's cool if you can't take the role. I will just-"

"COOL?!! NO!!!!!" His heart leaped high with the offer. His cheeks were scorching hot with excitement. It's rare to hear Ji Hyo spoke freely with him especially when the cameras were turned off scene. "I meant... I will take it." "Is just I'm currently in Singapore right now. But I'm arriving back by tomorrow morning."

"Don't you worry about that, oppa. Your scene will only be filmed during late night. So just sit back and relax alright?"

Gary who now was relief that he's only filming it during the night. Letting out a breath and continue the conversation. "Owh Mong Ji.. You know that I take this role just for you right?"

She felt like punching Gary on the face for teasing her right now. "Cut that out, oppa. You are giving me goosebumps. I will send you the script later on alright?"

"What if I mess up the whole scene, Mong Ji??? I'm really worry that I'm unable to do it well." Gary who know himself so well that he screwed things up when he sees the camera rolling. He was horrified back then when he seen ten cameras filming at the spot during the Running Man show.

"Gelli gelli... Just calm yourself down. I'm sure oppa can do it well. We will meet up tomorrow at 11pm. See you soon, Kang Gary!!!"

"Yea yea, Mong Ji. See you!" Gary ended the call and stare at Gil, as well he looked back. Gil's expression was filled with curiosity, waiting for Gary to tell out what's the conversation about. It felt like a minute had passed and yet Gary was staring at him with not a single sound spoken out. Feeling fed up and started to ask Gary impatiently. "So..... How was it?"

Gary let out a big smile and hold Gil's both hands out of sudden. Behaving as if he's a gay or something. Gil pushed the grip away from him and raised one of his eyebrow.

"Dude.. Have you lost your mind after hearing her voice?? You are in a total drunk of love aren't you?"

Feeling as he's floating up in the blue sky, he replied to Gil. "I'm about to die of happiness. She asked me to take a small role of her drama."

Gil who sounded relief since it's the next step for Gary to confess his love towards Ji Hyo. He patted his hand on Gary's back, giving him some courage for letting out his true feelings. "Dude!! Way to go,bro!! That's the another step to approach her! You should confess your love towards her!"

"I had.. It's been a thousand times I had confessed my love, yet she thinks it's some kind of joke." explained Gary.

"I'm out of words to comment about that. But take this opportunity to get her love alright? I'm right by your side. Go for it!!!" Gill advised. Raised his fist in the air, and make the fighting figure.

Gary nodded happily and decided to work back with his songs. After scribbling some lyric on his paper, Gary read it loudly to Gil. Had the confidence that Gil will provide an idea on composing a better song. He corrected each sentences to make a perfect line.

An excellent idea just light up from Gary's mind. He snapped his fingers and got up from his seat hurriedly. Gil who has the headphone on his ears just watched Gary who behave weirdly today. He was playing one of Gary's song, listening to the audio recorded while adjusting the flow of the loud music.

"I've got a plan to make another song. I need Jung In's help for this song. Do make an appointment with her after settle with my album." Gary said while showing his thumbs up to Gil, believed that the upcoming song will be a great success.

He rearranged the whole lyrics to make a complete song and scribble out a tittle which suit his new song for the year of 2014, 사람냄새 (SaRang NaemSae) or known as Your Scent.
