As rain drizzled against the windows of U.A. High, students filed into the school, chatting excitedly about the previous day's Sports Festival. Ray, his hands stuffed into the pockets of his hoodie, strolled through the hallways, earning more than a few curious stares. The whispers followed him.
"That's Ray BlackBlood! He came in second place!"
"Did you see what he did? That light-speed thing was insane!"
"His quirk's terrifying, but kind of...cool."
Ray's expression remained indifferent, his glowing eyes scanning the hallways as if none of the murmurs fazed him. He walked into Class 1-A, the chatter quieting as he took his seat near the back.
Kaminari: "Yo, Ray! You're like a superstar now. Bet you're loving all this attention."
Ray: "Ugh, Don't talk to me till I've had my coffee."
Mina: "You drink coffee?"
Ray: "No."
Before anyone could say more, the door slid open, revealing Aizawa, looking much better now without his bandages. He stood at the front of the class, his signature tired look intact.
Aizawa: "Good morning."
Tsuyu: "Sir, You no longer have bandages."
Aizawa: "Recovery Girl went overboard with my treatment..."
The class laughed lightly, but Aizawa didn't miss a beat.
Aizawa: "Now, listen up. The Sports Festival wasn't just for show. It's a gateway for opportunities. Since your performances were broadcasted, agencies all over Japan have been sending in internship offers for some of you."
This caught everyone's attention, murmurs breaking out among the students.
Uraraka: "Internships? Already?"
Aizawa: "Yes, normally you wouldn't have to worry about this till your second or third year. But, With a change in the curriculum, First years get to try on early."
Aizawa clicked a remote, and a screen lit up, revealing a list of names and their corresponding numbers of offers.
