"I hate this." Mattheo declared. "I'm not in any of your classes."
"You are a second year." Davina agreed.
"And Theo and Aemond get to be in all your classes." Mattheo whined. "It's not fair."
"We get meals and study halls," Davina gestured around.
"Ms. Davina."
"Warning, warning," Aegon murmured.
"Hello Professor Snape." Davina answered sweetly.
"I am very impressed with you today." Severus remarked.
"Thank you," Davina agreed.
"I take credit for her awesomeness." Mattheo mused. "She stole all my books and my wand over holiday breaks." Mattheo informed him.
"Doubtful considering you scarcely passed my class last year Mr. Strong." Severus drawled out.
"I'm your man for charms." Mattheo offered.
"I doubt she needs your help." Severus corrected. "Keep up the good work, Ms Davina. Your father would be proud."
"Thank you." Davina repeated. Severus headed on his way, patrolling the children, making sure they were studying.
"Ron are those your brothers?" Vaera questioned.
"Yeah, Fred and George." Ron agreed. "Can you tell from the hair?"
"Yeah." Vaera admitted. ''But I know the boy with them, thats Cregan Stark. He is from my world."
"Its still weird to me that you guys are from another world." Harry declared.
"It's... different from here, thats for sure. But I like it, its home. I miss my father already but I'm glad I have Davina." Vaera remarked.
"Slytherin." Dean hissed.
"I dont know what people have told you about Slytherin's but my sister is great." Vaera corrected sternly.
"Eye of rabbit, harp string hum. Turn this water, into rum." Seamus declared, he looked in cup and shook his head. "Eye of rabbit, harp string hum..." Seamus chanted.
"What's Seamus trying to do to that glass of water?" Harry questioned.
"Turn it into rum." Ron remarked.
"Oh my father would love that. What's the spell?" Vaera questioned getting her quill ready.
"Actually managed a weak tea yesterday, before-" but Ron was cut off when a mighty flash and bang occurred. The cup had exploded in Seamus face. Ron and Harry laughed as Hermione fanned away the smoke with her hand. Davina peered over as Aemond took a seat beside her.
"Whats going on with the troublesome Gryffindors?" Davina mused.
"I dont know, but I'm not a good wizard." Aemond remarked.
"Sure you are." Davina offered.
"No, i'm a bad wizard and I'm a bad Targaryen." Aemond murmured.
"Thats complete and utter bullshit." Davina corrected. "Back me up Mattheo."
"Aemond you are a shit Targaryen, when are you going to claim a dragon?" Mattheo questioned.
"Mattheo!" Davina shouted swatting a hand at him.
"Insulting Aemond, my favorite past time." Theo remarked sitting across from them. "Oh heads up I heard we are having a pop quiz in Herbology."
"Gross, my least favorite subject." Davina groaned.
"Can we get back to me?" Aemond questioned.
"You will have a dragon." Davina assured.
"You and Vaera both had your eggs hatch." Aemond remarked. "I'm 11, thats ancient."
"Fury and Cookie are the best," Davina agreed. Suddenly, a flock of owls started coming into the hall from the rafters above.
"Mail you a dragon." Theo mused. Aemond rolled his eyes.
"When we get home, we get you a dragon." Davina suggested.
"Ah. Mail's here!" Ron declared. Harry had never gotten owl mail before. Not until his letter to hogwarts that is while the Targaryens were used to raven mail a swarm of owls was exciting. The owls soared by, dropping parcels to students. Harry got nothing but Ron did. He noticed the wrapping of Ron's mail was the newspaper.
"Can I borrow this?" Harry questioned pointing to the paper. Ron nodded "Thanks."
"DAVINA!" Vaera squealed catching a package. She ran to Davina's table. "LOOK FROM FATHER!" Neville was unwrapping a gift. It is a clear glass ball with a gold banner around it.
"Hey, look! Neville's got a Remembrall!" Dean declared.
"I've read about those. When the smoke turns red," Hermione remarked as the smoke turns red, "-it means you've forgotten something."
"The only problem is, I can't remember what I've forgotten." Neville remarked looking into the smoke.
"Open it, open it!" Theo chanted drumming his hands on the table. The girls pulled on the strings and revealed two identical lockets except for a V on one and D on the other.
"Pretty." Vaera coed putting hers on.
"Wait, this is... I know what that is." Mattheo remarked.
"Dad knows how to pick out jewelry?" Davina mused as she put it on touching the little charm.
"It's like a telephone." Mattheo remarked. He got blank looks from his friends. "Right, I forget you are first years, you can talk to Vaera when you are not right next to her, like a walkie talkie." Mattheo leaned forward touching the locket and it glowed on Vaera's neck. He tapped it again his hand lingering on Davina as vaera laughed out.
"That's so cool!"
"Wait, its lighting up again," Davina remarked.
"I didnt touch it." Vaera corrected. "Maybe it's... tap yours maybe it goes to father too." The tapped theirs watching the colors change.
"Oh Professor Snape-"
"Yes your father has a third." Severus agreed as he passed. "I gave him the idea."
"Thank you!" Vaera called after him. "This is so cool!"
"Why dont our mothers love us?" Theo pondered looking to Aemond.
"I know why Rhaenyra doesnt love you but mine is busy ruling the kingdoms." Aemond sassed as he got up.
"Oh, Aemond has jokes now!" Theo declared leaning back on his chair.
"Hello?" Vaera said into the charm. It shook on Davina's neck. She tapped it. Hello echoed in her ear.
"Shut the fuck up, thats so cool!"
"Did you hear it? I didnt hear it." Vaera countered.
"Here let me try." Davina agreed.
"You know thats the best way to cheat ever!" Aegon decided as he plopped down beside them. "You just fed each other the information." Davina smirked.
"Herbology pop quiz." Theo agreed nodding along.
"I'm sitting right next to you, you can look at my test." Vaera corrected.
"But I'm not." Theo corrected.
