"Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Ring the Hogwart bell. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas..." The ghosts declared as the kids filed out.
Hermione looks from the massive Christmas tree as Flitwick uses his wand to put another ornament on the tree to Harry and Ron as they play Chess and moved towards them.
" Knight to E5." Harry demanded. The Knight moves to its destination. Hermione walked up behind Harry.
"Queen to E5." Ron countered smugly. Hermione watched as Ron's queen goes over to Harry's knight and whacks the knight with her chair. Ron grins.
"That's totally barbaric!" Hermoine declared shocked.
"We got a set for our father." Davina remarked. "It's awesome." Vaera nodded in agreement.
"That's wizard's chess." Ron agreed he looked to her. "I see you've packed."
"See you haven't."
"Are you not going home ROn?" Vaera questioned. Davina tapped her foot impatiently. Vaera wanted to say goodbye to her friends before they headed home, Davina agreed but wanted to get home.
"Change of plans, my parents decided to go to Romania to visit my brother Charlie. He's studying dragons there." Ron agreed.
"Good, you can help Harry, then. He's going to go and look in the library for information on Nicholas Flamel." Hermoine agreed.
"Dont find anything cool without me!" Vaera countered. Harry smiled back at her.
"We've looked a hundred times." Ron whined.
"Not in the restricted section." Hermoine corrected leaning over and whispering to them. "Happy Christmas."
"I think we've had a bad influence on her." Harry remarked. Vaera hugged hermoine goodbye and handing off a little gift for her, before moving to Ron and Harry and hugging them too.
"I got you presents, dont open them until I'm gone!" Vaera insisted. She looked to Harry pressing a kiss to his cheek before wishing them a merry christmas.
"That boy loves you." Davina remarked as they headed back to Severus chambers next to the slytherin dorms.
"Davina!" Draco called out.
"ANd that boy loves you." Vaera whispered, laughing back. Davina turned to Draco.
"Hey, I... I was leaving and if you wanted to come to the Malfoy manner we have-"
"I am really sorry Draco but we have plans back home and its sort of a pain getting back to this realm." Davina cut him off.
"Oh... right." Dracos smile fell.
"Another time?" Davina offered. Draco smiled nodding.
"Yeah, um," he held out the bit of paper with his address on it. "In case you changed your mind, come by anytime."
"Thanks draco, merry christmas." Davina offered.
"Merry Christmas." Draco echoed watching them head off.
"Ready?" Severus questioned sending their cousins through the floo powder already.
"You have plans Severus? You could join us." Davina offered. "We have never done Christmas before but," She shrugged. "We are going to try."
"Thats kind of you but I have... plans." severus lied.
"Of course you do." Davina agreed. "Silly me."
"It was a sweet offer." Severus assured and wondered what it would be like to be with a family for the holidays he had not for ages, he didnt remember the last holiday he was actually happy. "You girls remember how to do the floo?"
"yeah." Vaera agreed. "Kings landing, Westeros." Vaera declared stepping in and she was gone.
"Merry Christmas professor." Davina put a little gift down on his desk. "Thanks for everything. See you in a few weeks." Severus eyes fixated on the little gift.
"I will come collect you a day before term resumes." Severus agreed meeting her violet gaze. She nodded stepping in.
"Kings landing, Westeros." Davina declared and she was gone. Severus moved to his desk and picked up the gift. He opened it up and found a broken portion of an Occamy Eggshell.
"How did you..." Severus began. The Occamy Eggshell was essential in the Felix Felicis Potion.
"There my girls are!" Daemon declared hugging them.
"Where is my hug?" Alicent questioned. Aemond walked up to her hugging her.
"I missed you mum." Aemond assured.
"Larys, Har, father." Mattheo remarked greeting his family.
"Where is Helaena?" Alicent questioned looking around. "Was she..." she looked to Davina.
"She said she was staying at Hogwarts." Aemond answered.
"That was an option?" Aegon questioned.
"She didnt want to come home?" Alicent questioned, saddened at the thought.
"Hey mum," THeo said hugging Rhaenyra.
"Oh baby, you have to tell me everything!" Rhaenyra declared. "You didnt raven me."
"I told you Rhaenyra," Daemon remarked. "They dont have ravens."
"You did not OWL me!" Rhaenyra corrected. "I miss you!"
"THEO!" Jace and LUke ran up to him.
"Hey! Miss me?" Theo questioned hugging his brothers.
"So much!" Luke agreed clinging to him.
"Come on people lets have christmas!" Vaera declared hooting out.
"What's that?" Luke countered.
"Presents and food." Davina answered.
"Like a name day." LUke pondered.
"Yes but better because its presents for everyone!" Davina declared.
"You know floo powder is really useful. We were using a port key last year." Mattheo remarked.
"Oh you guys missed Davinas first game!" Theo declared. Rhaenyra smiled back at Daemon's girls.
"It was a great game." Daemon agreed.
"Mattheo wrote and said you were a chaser, scored seventy points your first game." Larys agreed. "Congratulations, Davina."
"Thanks Larys." Davina agreed. "Did you tell him about our second game when we WON!" Daemon laughed out pulling Davina closer to him. He had gotten used to them being gone but now that they were home he didnt know how he was going to let them go.
