Tine and Ani went out for sight seeing to the market wearing common clothes suggested by Ani to avoid too much attention and problem as Tine was new to the place to protect him from people with prying eyes."Tine come let me show you where they sell the most delicious dessert you've never tasted" Ani took him to where the deserts were sold and Tine bought some with the money Tay gave him."Hmm it tastes so good" Tine said as he stuffs more into his mouth making puffed cheeks like that of a bunny. Ani found him so cute and pinched his cheeks"you're so cute Tine, don't worry I will take care of you and buy you deserts that are so delicious" she said to Tine smiling and he nodded.
They went to other places and tried more deserts and foods. The last restaurant they entered people stared at them most of the time, Ani noticed this and looked around actually they were staring at Tine. Tine noticed it too and stops eating"Ani why are people staring at us" Tine asked as people were whispering amongst themselves as they looked at them with surprised faces.
"This is why I suggest we wear common clothes but still it didn't work" she said sighing "why..I mean what does it have to do with it" Tine asked her again
"why is because not to grab too much attention because of the cloths we wear and second judging from the those men look at you, you are too pretty for a man, they maybe think that you're one of the king's concubines that aren't allowed out of the palace but did and disguised as a man, but not doing it properly" she explains "but I get them" she says nodding her head
"what did you get" Tine asked dumbly
"you are too pretty, it's rare to see someone a man for that matter to be pretty" she said and Tine blushed"you know, you're not the first to say that my friends did too" Tine said smiling as he remembers his friends
"No am serious Tine, who are you" she asked him and Tine froze where he sat on, he hasn't imagined someone would ask him that. Tine nervously smiled"or are you an immortal angel" she asked curiously as she narrowed her eyes at him"is there a thing like that" Tine asked "No..I just said that to know if you will claim that you're when I know it doesn't" she said as she leaned back on the chair using her hand to comb her long hair.
Tine looked at her"I can't tell her who I am, cause I don't trust her yet" Tine thought as he thinks of what to say to her"well to tell you the truth,more like half truth.. I'm no one the deity saved me from bad people and brought me here so I am grateful for what he did for me" Tine said lying emotionally and she nodded believing him"even when he's behind my suffering" Tine muttered
"what you said something Tine" Ani asked"what.. no nothing I didn't say anything" Tine said nervously as he looks around the restaurant they were in.
When they were done eating they paid and left, they saw a crowd of people gathered at a certain place Tine told Ani but she wasn't interested to to go there, but Tine dragged her towards the crowd as they pry themselves to the front to see whatever performance they were doing. It was just a masquerade show being performed by the mortals there.
Tine was clapping happily at every stunts they pulled but Ani wasn't, she just smiled anytime Tine looked at her, she has been seeing this all the time and therefore it wasn't new to her, but Tine haven't seen anything this awesome and interesting like this. Tine continued shouting, clapping and jumping as they passed"He looks so happy" Ani thought smiling as she stares at Tine.
They went to so many places with Tine curious about something and Ani explaining everything to him but by bit. After running around all day Ani decided to end it and go back home as it was late already but Tine whined like a child which results them to stay a little longer in the market"I really had fun today Ani thank you so much" Tine thanked her, he hasn't felt this free since he was born and now he never regrets escaping from home. "The way you behaved today shows you haven't had this much fun ever since" she said as they walked back to the residence"yes" Tine said with a low voice, Ani saw how he's happy face withered and decided not to push him to answer"if you don't want to talk about it I get it, don't force yourself Tine" she said concerned about him.
Tine nodded as his face brightened up a bit"Ani I want to ask you about something" tine says"what it it" she asked tine "em.. don't tell the deity I asked I this because he already told me about it but I wasn't satisfied with his answer, if you know anything about it can you tell me don't leave behind any part" Tine says as he slowed down their movements."well Tine depends on what you ask me" she says facing Tine "can you tell me anything about this place, the Immortals, deity and everything" tine said hopefully waiting for an answer to that. Ani sighed and nodded "okay I'll tell you but first let's go inside" she said and Tine realized they had already reached their destination, home.
They went inside and sat down on one of the steps of the main house."well Tine there's nothing much to say though" she said straightening her clothes.
"Then just start with the deities, because when I first came here, I bumped into someone but that person seemed weird,I apologized to him but he just evilly smirked and left. Then later on Tay told me to stay away from him that he's a bad person" Tine said to her
"well we have six deity Immortals here that were made by the king. The first one Ming according to most people is mischievous and doesn't care about the people only does his work and disappears, people rarely see him all the time.
The second one Sarawat known by most people especially the elderly ones as kind and charming but known by girls as a playboy_"
"what's a playboy " Tine cuts her.
"A person who sleeps with any pretty or cute girls or boys he sees and shuts them up if they want report him, he has a stone cold heart doesn't care about anything or anybody, in my own angle he is a bad person but not everybody knows about this because he pretends to be good in front of the king and the people but deeply inside him he's awful. So I advise you Tine stay away from him as much as possible, don't fall for his charm and if you do fall, when he's done with you, he will throw you away like you're nothing" she said seriously to Tine then continued "then about the third one you know already is nothing but kind and has a soft heart, but serious when it comes to people's lives and feelings. He found me when I was little I was lost in the forest my parents abandoned me at, he took me, took care of me till I grew up. I had nothing to repay him with, then I asked to be his maid, he wanted to let me go but I begged him to let me stay and serve him. He disagreed at first but I insisted and nothing can change my mind, when he saw how serious I am he let me stay and I'm forever grateful for what he did for me. He and the second deity are the king's step sons" she said and a tear left Tine's eyes, his eyes widened and quickly caught the pearls before she could see it"even though he trapped me, he was just trying to protect the mortals because he thought I was a threat to them, he indeed care about people much,this gives me more reason to like him more" Tine thought smiling"then what about the other deities" Tine asked
She raised her hand stretching "I don't really know anything about them, all I know are the ones near me" she said leaning her back down on the floor, Tine leaned back with her as they gaze at the stars. Some minutes later she stood up and patted
Tine's shoulder"Tine stand up let's get in and get some sleep" she said as she helps Tine up and they went inside.
