There were lots of banging on the door to Tine's room accompanied by screams of Tine as well. Tine in the bathroom heard the screams coming from the outside, stood up and came out irritatedly from the bath tub, wrapping his body in a robe and immediately rushed to the door to know who was disturbing his peace.

He wrenches the door open immediately to see who that was, three bodies immediately rushed in and hugged him tightly and that was when it dawned on Tine what was happening and also what he so long missed so badly. His friends, his partners in crime. He hugged them back as tight as he could as tears spilled out of his eyes falling on his friends turning to pearls, same with his friends.

Some moments later they broke the hug when tine complained of short breath as they were squeezing him so tight.

"Tine...." Fong started "where have you been all these time, do you know how much we missed you, how worried we were. We waited for your return a long time ago only to be told by the king you rebelled and left the sea entirely, we thought you might never come back again" he said at once with shaky voice making it a little difficult for Tine to understand. Ohm and Phuak nodded their heads in agreement to what Fong said, Tine sighed deeply

"Okay...but before I say anything to you guys, let me wear something comfortable" they released their grips on him

Tine, walked to the closet and picked out light cloths to put on. He walked back towards them and sat down on his bed"where should I start-"

"Start from the beginning, the time you left the kingdom" ohm rushed out earning a smack on the head by Fong

"Don't rush him ohm, allow him" Fong said facing back to Tine

Phuak stood up from the chair he was sitting on and rushed to Tine's bed and made himself comfortable to hear from Tine, seeing this ohm did the same while dragging Fong with him.

"Even better, now we can hear you more clearly" Phuak rests his head on his hand, they looked at Tine to get on with it with eager eyes, Tine but his lips and looked at them and couldn't help but laugh.

"You guys look like kids eager to hear a story from their grandma" he said laughing but stopped short when they all yelled at him

"Just get on with it!"

"Okay" Tine really don't want to tell anyone what he encountered in the human lands but...these were his friends he can't just leave them out,"well.... it all started when I left the kingdom...."

He told them about everything and everyone he met including Sarawat, Luke and Ani but left out the intimate part about him and Sarawat feeling they will judge him quickly for falling in love and doing something foolish like that and he doesn't want that...at least for now.

Hours past, as Tine told his story and with all the stops and questions from his friends which made them waste a lot of time on it without realizing it was already late in the evening before he was done.

"Now I'm really in love with that human Luke and human....eh what was her name again" Fong scratched his head trying to remember.

"Ani" Phuak blurted trying so hard not to cry for his friend, he stood up and scooted closer to Tine and hugged him, then let the tears flow from his eyes as it turned to pearls.

He knows how bad and heart wrenching a heartbreak is for them and his friend went through all that just because he wants his happiness and freedom.

"It's okay Phuak, it doesn't hurt that much again" Tine said smiling trying to convince him but Phuak knew he was lying, but there's nothing he could do other than to help him forget about it and keeping away from conversation that could lead to it making him remember.
