In all honesty, I feel like Katie also doesn't get enough credit. And she's number nine by the way.

Honestly what I like better about Katie than I do most other females is that she doesn't feel as forced of a strong female character. Katie feels more like a feminine character who can lead and I feel like that's something society, as well as PAW Patrol, needs rather than just an OP character like Skye rarely needing help.

Also off topic, but I feel like the Skye situation is setting women in the real world up for failure. Because there's nothing wrong with needing help from others, especially from men from time time. Look, there's nothing wrong with strong women, but when it feels really forced like it does with Skye in that one episode, then...yeah.

Anyways, Katie feels like that one feminine character who isn't exactly a badass bitch like half the world wants to be and doesn't feel as overpowered of a character as she always needs help for something or help for someone.

She feels a little more refreshing of a female lead.

She's not exactly in our faces too much and showing off just how powerful she can be in small snippets while it feels like Skye is trying to overpower everyone else...or is that just me?

Instead of being some overpowered female character she shows her strengths by doing things for Ryder and pups like watching over the PAW Patrol when Ryder is gone. And that shows she can be both a strong leader as well as a girl who needs help since she often asks Ryder and pups for help when she needs it.

In honesty, Katie just feels like one of those characters who is a forgotten superstar, but whom has done much for the whole entire Adventure Bay. And to be honest she definitely is one of the more harder working of the human characters in the show. Definitely more leader worthy than Goodway.

Off topic, but seriously who put Goodway in charge? Surely there's better mayors out there than a woman who can't even go two seconds without losing her chicken.

Anyways, Katie is honestly another selfless character. Rarely do I see her being anything but nice and good to people and pups. And that's why she gets number nine—not only for her ability to be strong when most needed, but because of how good she is to everyone.

How's that for a number nine?
