For number five we have another cool pup, but this time a villain: Claw.

So yay, this time we're on a villain arc of this....top ten.

Being honest, he would be higher, but literally every other character on this list just blows him out of the water and I don't want any ties...unlike with that ship book. Lol. (This is foreshadowing. Lol)

Anyways, Claw is one of my favorite villains of all time. Not only does he have a puppy dog eyes thing, but he's also pretty quick on his feet. If anyone could easily outsmart Chase it would be this guy—wait he did outsmart Chase and outran him. Damn....

Moving on, while he might be one of the most "evil" villains, Claw isn't exactly what I consider "evil." He's not...broken either, don't get me wrong. But there's something about his pride that's more than just a pure evil pup.

Is it...a case of spoiled pup ides I smell? Possibly. Is it...a case of unfair Princess telling Claw no dragons as a knight when she allows the PAW Patrol to fly with no problems whatsoever as long as it's "for good?" Maybbbe.

Oh!

Could it be a case of revenge from embarrassment of hitting Princess' birthday cake and having her fire him because he smooshed it? Most likely.

Either way, there's something more to this pup than meets the eye. Sure he's a "villain", it was the princess who made him like this. And he wasn't even the first instance we saw of this princess-turning-others-into-villains either.

Plus, we didn't get much about him and the Earl is a pawn in the Princess' blame game after all. Just saying, Earl might not have even been employed before Claw's betrayal.

Now that's juicy!

Sorry. I'm getting more into dark theories and less into why I actually like the character. Whoops!

Anyways, like I said there's not only this sort of mysterious aura to this Claw pup, but he's also far different than most of the villains and antagonists we see.

We get to see part of why he turned into a bad knight, we get to see his good nature with dragons—and this is much like Sweetie with her owner but with a dragon which is cool, and we get to see him team up with another villain for longer than other baddies have.

Now isn't that cool? A pup who's got so much to him and yet there's so little we know?!

Why am I sending Pokémon Mystery dungeon-type lore here? Ooh it just gets me going.

Claw is just that cool. He's...the cool Chase.

Yes I went there. I'm just....apparently trash talking a fake dog now. Pft.

Anyways, as you can clearly see I love Claw. He's got that sort of mystery to him and he doesn't really feel like a really bad dog. He just feels more like a dog who got fired for a stupid reason.

No joke the PAW Patrol got to use dragons without being fired. And Claw literally probably didn't even understand the dangers of using a dragon. Sure that makes him flawed, but hey I love a pup who realizes the Princess is shit anyways.

And now I'm bullying the Princess of Barkingburg. What's new? Lol.
