For number three? This list isn't complete without Sweetie. Of course she has to share...unfortunately breaking my own rules. Lol.
Not the first or last time I'll break these rules. XD
All three are girls: Sweetie—like I mentioned just before, Ella, and Liberty.
This wouldn't be a top ten without them tbh. But I also didn't want to avoid include Ryder, Katie, Ace, or anyone else who will be mentioned on this list, so there's a three way tie. Yay! Cars reference!
Anyways I've got some extra special explanations for each of these characters as to why they're number three.
Let's go in Alphabetical Order now shall we?
Starting with Ella...
Err in all honesty Ella has a similar reason like Coral for why she's on this list. Her design feels like it isn't trying to beautify a dog for starters. Plus I just love how different her design can be to Tuck's despite them being twins.
Can I also just get distracted by how different Tuck's design is for a second as well? I feel like there's this sort of desire to make pups look a certain way. You know...like they're not dogs and actually sexy human-like dogs...or that's the way it seems when you look at characters like
Everest, Liberty, and Gasket.Anyways, Tuck and Ella both are very different from the designs of everyone else. They feel...I dunno more realistic and inclusive rather than just a beautification and that's why Ella's on this list.
For Ella, her beauty doesn't come from her actual appearance. You could look at this character and see her as an average pup and that honestly feels inclusive. I'm sorry, but there is no need to add such facial features to a dog. Ella feels like fresh air compared to the other females in PAW Patrol and I feel like she deserved better. I mean she comes with Mighty Pups. That's enough for her to be mighty. Especially since she's tall.
Now speaking of one of the beauty queens, Liberty, the reason she's on this list is just how likable she is for me. She's like all of us PAW Patrol fans made into one pup. And I think that's really cool even despite her "over-the-top beauty."
In all honesty, Liberty feels exactly like her name: free to speak her mind. And I feel like that is honestly pretty cool. I love how sarcastic she can be, and how she's just an interesting and unique character.
I mean she considered a bear to be a pet. Who even does that? XD.
But you want to know what I love best about Liberty? How real she can be. When even Skye didn't know how to comfort Chase, Liberty knew exactly what to do. And she wasn't even a hero. Like who taught her these life lessons? Where did she learn that being brave is the most heroic thing someone can do?
Not to mention how fun she is either. She is very fun and adorable to watch.
You know, she might be overpowered at points, but there's still a lot of situations where she has to learn new things and adapt. And it just makes her more likable than some pups who do the same thing but rarely learn new tricks.
Speaking of new tricks, let's talk about the pup who learned new ways of getting her owner's attention. That's right: Sweetie. Probably one of the most sassiest pups in all of paw patrol. And Liberty's pretty sassy too so that's saying something.
So why is Sweetie this high?
Well, considering how dumb the Princess can be sometimes...saying things like how Chase is her favorite pup and doing things that don't feel as fair to other pups...
Yeah I just feel bad for her. I mean she wants the crown but apparently isn't even considered really anything royal outside of a pet status? Sure does feel like someone didn't want pets to be leaders. But clearly some pets are leaders and that's just sad.
And to top it all off even the dang royal kittens get more appreciation than this queen of all pups does. It's really sad. Like no wonder why she wants a higher status: people are mean to her.
She steals a crown one time for attention and everyone decides she's worse than some cats who are just as equally pampered as she is. And the cats even joined Humdinger at one point. Like that's some major disrespect right there when even the cats who join humdinger get more love and praise than a royal dog does.
It just shows you how awful Sweetie gets treated sometimes. And it feels like she just wants this position for love and attention because of how horribly treated she seems sometimes. Especially from the subjects.
It's like, she's a royal dog, at least treat her with decent respect and stop acting like she's the worst pup in the world.
It's like, sheesh. No wonder why she acts like a brat sometimes. She gets good treatment from the princess, but it feels like even that is limited at times. She's only praised when she obeys the Princess or does something the Princess likes. It's kind of pathetic to see just how some people sweep this under the rug.
