The kids brought Lucy to Jeremy's apartment.

"Jeremy! We found Lucy" said Charles Wallace.

"Oh, Lucy!" Jeremy whispered.

He held his daughter and noticed her painted face.

"Why is my baby red?" said Jeremy.

"Heh. The criminal who had her painted her" said Calvin.

"Did she swallow any paint?" said Jeremy.

"I dunno; I hope not" said Sam.

"Never mind. Thanks, kids, for bringing my baby back. What would I do without you three?" said Jeremy.

"Hey. We're just doing our job, J Dawg" said Sam.

Calvin and Charles Wallace performed an elaborate handshake with Jeremy while Sam kissed him on the cheek.

"Well, Three Warriors... case closed!" said Calvin.

"Another mystery..." Sam began.

"Is history!" Charles Wallace finished.

That night, Charles Wallace was working late at the office.

"Case closed, little guy?" said Rob.

"Sure is" said Charles Wallace.

"So why'd that little banshee steal a train that she was too young to operate?" said Buddy Sorrell.

"Because she was running from a kidnapper. That's why she's not arrested; she was a victim" said Charles Wallace.

"I never thought I'd see the day when a little kid breaks away from a criminal. A kid that isn't you, Charles Wallace" said Sally Rogers.

Mel Cooley then walked into the office.

"I solved the mystery, sir" said Charles Wallace.

"I know, kid. I'm here to thank you for that and say that the guys are coming by tomorrow to fix the part of the building the train crashed into" said Mel.

"Great. A destroyed building would ruin the show's reputation" said Buddy.

"Like yours when you married a woman named Pickles" Sally sassed.

"Ha! Your wife's name is Pickles?" Charles Wallace laughed.

"Yeah. And we didn't go on our honeymoon until after our tenth anniversary" said Buddy.

"They were trying to see how the marriage would work" said Rob.

"Well. You fellas get back to work. Charles Wallace, you're free to go" said Mel.

"Thanks, Mr Cooley" said Charles Wallace before leaving the office.
