I do apologise for the long gap, college had me stressing over getting into final year but I'm in so that's good! I'll try to make this packed with fluff, thanks for your patience!

The next day, the sun's warm embrace enveloped the campus, casting a golden glow over everything in its path. Germany woke up on time with his phone alarm, grumbling as he smacked his phone over and over until it shut up, before he slowly got up in bed. He slowly sat up and stretched, before dragging himself into the showers, having a fast shower and getting dressed. He grabbed his bag, stuffed his books for the day into it, and rushed down to the dining hall.

Most students were not awake at this time, and as Germany entered the dining hall, only about 10 students were awake. Surprisingly enough, however, Russia was awake, sitting with a couple of unfamiliar flags, and so he made his way over, sitting next to one with golden wings. It took a while for them to recognise that he had turned up, but as soon as they did, they started chatting to him. All of them seemed to be younger years, and were either excited or nervous, since they were talking at such a fast pace. Germany couldn't keep up with them, and so turned to Russia in confusion.

"Hey, Russia." Germany would smile up at him, in which Russia would nod in response and watch the two individuals across from him. "Hey, who are those two people? And are they first year?"

"...those are my younger siblings...Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Twins, they are, and very excitable...they are indeed first year..." Russia would look back down at his food, poking at it before looking over at Germany's empty plate. Without a second chance for Germany to get food, Russia would take the plate and start filling it up. Once he was happy with the amount of food on the plate, he would pass it back before starting to eat his own plate. "...we have creature care today, you'd better eat up."

"A-Ah! Thank you, Russia..?" Germany wouldn't complain about the food however, starting to eat from the plate and glancing over at Russia, seeing a slight smile on his face.

Once they were finished, both Germany and Russia decided to head down to the forest, eager to get a head start on the rest of their small class and learn about the creatures they were going to encounter today. The forest was host to some of the most dangerous creatures to brush through a forest, but also some wonderous sights.

As they walked deeper into the forest, the towering trees and thick underbrush closed in around them. Germany consulted a well-worn map, tracing their route to the spot where their magical creature professor had told them they would find their first subject. Russia, ever observant, kept a watchful eye on their surroundings, alert for any signs of movement or creatures. His keen senses were well-suited for the task at hand.

After some time, they reached a clearing where a group of their classmates had already gathered. In the center of the clearing stood their professor, a knowledgeable witch with years of experience in handling magical creatures. She welcomed Germany and Russia with a nod, acknowledging their punctuality. The professor began the lesson once all of their classmates had arrived, explaining the safety precautions and guidelines they needed to follow when observing and interacting with the creatures. She stressed the importance of respect and caution, as some of these creatures could be unpredictable or dangerous.

Germany listened attentively, taking notes and asking questions when necessary, determined to excel in this class since he would have liked to take a degree in vetinary alongside his government duties. Russia, on the other hand, was just glancing at Germany's notes, not really interested in excelling and more like passing the class. He assumed that just like with Italy, Germany was going to have to share his notes so that he could pass.

Soon horses were led out of the forest, some of Germany's favourite animals. They were immediately encouraged to go up to them, and for most of the morning they were spent learning how to look after them and how their anatomy worked. It was a much needed relief from the lessons they had so far, and a relaxer for that afternoon's lesson - which was power control.

As soon as they were away for lunch, Germany started to worry about their afternoon class. He still hasn't had any of his powers be shown, and he was starting to overthink that they might never show up. Despite all the reassurance from UN and EU, as well as WHO, he was still stressing and worrying about the whole ordeal. What if they have to induce them medically? Surely that wouldn't be good for him?

--------------------------

Russia watched Germany pick at his food over lunch. It was just the two of them at the table, Italy and Japan having left them to sit with their other friends, and he was starting to get worried about his friend. If he was not going to eat right, then he was not going to do well in the next class. He needed a lot of energy if he was going to use his powers. So he got up, to Germany's surprise, and went around the table, sitting next to him and starting to pile up a fork.

"...I won't let you leave without a single bite of food. Eat." He shoved the fork againsts Germany's perked-up lips, before eventually succeeding and getting Germany to take a bite. Smiling at his success, he would pile up another fork, and another, and another, until Germany's plate was now empty. "There. Empty plate, happy tummy." He would eat his own plate, not noticing Germany's bright red flush on his face nor the way he was quietly muttering to himself.
