Avril and Indiriël came running by.
Both had some rests of leaves in her hair, breathing hard.
Rána raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. It was always the same with the two girls, really. Always.
She sigued and shook her head. "Where have you been again? You have missed the announcemenr of the..."
"Yes, graduation ball, I know", Indiriël said flatly. "You think he would...?"
She looked over to a group of boys standing nearby. Aragorn, Argakord, Legolas, Haldir, Fili, Kili, Bard. The Middle-Earth-squad - just in the male version.
Fili, the dwarf-prince, waved at her and shyly, Indiriël waved back.
"You're never shy", Avril said. "Theoretically, this gesture shows that you both feel some serious sympathy for eath other."
Indiriël opened her mouth, just to shut it again. "Look who comes there", she said instead of what she was actually going to say. Another squad of boys passed by to make their way to the black board. With the boys, it was as bad as with the girls: They were practically never alone.
Rána saw Peter in the middle of the trio. Her eyes went big. But instead of talking to him or even saying hello, she turned away.
"He's not even there", she muttered to herself. "No reason to do anything embarassing." Wilwarin smiled at her and hugged her. "Hey, it will all be okay... Look, even they can do it!" Rána followed her finger, which pointed at Rhawen at Edmund, who now disappeared into the bedroom's direction.
"Rhawen is different", Ra muttered, looking to the ground sadly. "With her black and green eyes, she is just thw perfect partner for Ed."
Syll laughed, Silver grinned. "And now look at you. There is not even a chance to not see..." Syll stopped in the middle of the sentence, because now Peter was really close.
"... The parallels of you too", Silver ended the sentence, extra loudly. She evn threw her hands in the air to undermine it all. Rána's mouth fell open.
"You nasty little..." She crossed her arms tighter and muttered: "You hate me." All her friends shook her head. "I don't hate you either", Merenwen agreed, who had just come by. She had obviously been able to find a way around the croud to read the note by herself. Or Rhawen had told her.
"It's just..." Silence. Noone spoke. Everyone was in her own head with someone she wanted to go to that ball with too desperately.
"Who has a free hour now?", Rána asked, hef eyes glittered. Usually, that meant no good.
Three hands shot into the air, like in primary school. Merenwen. Wilwarin. Elrawien. Rána nodded satisfiedly.
"Fine. Come on. We have some work to do."
She took the hands of them all, as far as she could, and pulled them away from the surprised crowd left behind.---------
Aaaaandddd... How do you like it by now? I hope you like it.
Really. I do.
