When Ra arrived her my academy chamber together with my friends, she slammed the door behind us. Her room was one of the few ones that weren't shared with anyone. So long, she had begged and fought for this, even invested money.
Merenwen threw herself onto the majestic bed. Skyland Academy was one of the most professional and educating academies ever. This was even reflected in the furnitures used for the students' dormitories.
"And? What will you do now?", asked Elrawien, who leant in the doorstep. Wilwarin sat next to Merenwen, an both smiled, expecting what Rána would do now.
The Elvenlady ran over to her desk and scrabbled inside her drawers. There, she took a staple of paper and a pen, throwing them both onto her desk.
Then, she clapped into her hands ethusiastically. "Girls, check it out!" Rána sat down on her desk chair, turninh it round and round, stretching her arms into the air. Additionally, she weavered around with the staple of papers in her hand.
"That, my dear ladies... Is "Rána's wonderful ball pairing list"!"
The others sighed at first, before they realized this idea wasn't actually so bad.
"We will pay attention that all of our lovely friends will go to the freaking ball with the one guy they love."
Merenwen raised their hand. "And if they don't love anyone?" Elra laughed. "Oh come on, Mer, you can't seriously tell me there is noone you like." Her eyes twinkled, and she stepped into the room.
Rána dried her sweating hands at her Shirt and smiled happily. "C'mon guys, it's just to make you all happy, don't you know that?" To underline her words, the Lady threw her hands up in the air. The chair made some creepy noises.
"First of all, we got to make a list of all our friends, that's for sure. If this should ever work out..." - her blue eyes began to sparkle joyfully - "... This will be a huge feast."
"Ra...", whispered Wilwarin quietly. "I mean, I am not sure if this will work out." Rána's friend closed her eyes sadly. The girl with the chocolate-colored, long hair, wasn't self-confident enough to believe in the whole situation, and least of all in the love between her and someone else.
"Okay." Rána fetched the pen, twisted it in her hands - and smiled.
"We have us three..." In her best handwriting, she criggled the names down.
"Syll, Silver, Avri, Rhawe and Indiriël..." While writing, the girl muttered to herself.
All her friends giggled silently. "What?" Rána looked up, still smiling. "It's funny... The way to talk to yourself."
"Serious?" She rolled her eyes. Ignore. Simply ignore them. "So now... Who of you - us - has a crush? To be honest. Just raise the hands." In the moment everyone raised their hand, Rána slapped herself into the face. "I'm a dumb friend. Even asking."
She shook her head. All the girls, now sitting on the bed like chicken in line, looked at her with eyes huge as light bulbs. "Oh, come on! You knew I would try that. Do I need to ask you names? Do you wanna tell me them? Or shall I just write?"
Elrawien buried her face in her hands. "Just write. You know it anyway."
Wilwa and Mer nodded. "Same."
Rána grinned, with a grin that meant no good, and wrote some names down.------
Yessss, it goes on! *.*
