Jake smiled at you when you looked at him after zipping your suitcase. But you could see the pain in his eyes . Like he'd breakdown any minute. You were already in tears for the past hour.
You needed to move for a job . And you knew this would be the end of you and Jake . There'd be no way Jake could do his Rockstar stuff and touring and still have time to do the long distance thing . You honestly didn't even know how you and Jake were gonna turn out .
Neither of y'all wanted to end it . But knew it would never work. And that's the most painful thing to hear .
"Jake-" you choked as he pulled you I to his chest , as if he wanted to hide away his own tears while he hugged you .
The hug was short and interrupted by your phone right, making you realise you'd miss the flight if you wait around any longer .
"Jake you know what I can stay- I can stay- I can find another job here-" you wiped your nose as you looked around the room , rambling.
"This is once in a lifetime! You've wanted this forever" Jake reasons with you .
"You're once in a life too!" You yell before he pulled you into another hug .
"You didn't have to spend your whole life getting me tho . If you don't go you'll be wasting all of that . You'll regret it" you whine when you realised what he said was true , sobbing into his chest .
"They're waiting downstairs. You're gonna be late" Jake says practice dragging you down with you stuff .
"Jeez y|n you look-" josh was interrupted by Sam smacking his shoulder and stared a shot of daggers at him .
"Oh come here love" Sam pulling you into a hug as you let out a sob . Only making it worse that you wouldn't have to see Sam , josh and Danny too .
Josh joined in on the hug with Danny as well, Danny comforting you and giving you a plan of how you could meet them once in a while.
Once that was done you turned back to look at Jake who looked like he had been holding in his breath the entire time , his eyes filled to the brim with tears just about spilling, his face red from holding them in , biting his inner cheek to suppress the pain he was feeling.
Before you could say anything he had led you out with his hand in the small of your back , heading to the car ,he opened and closed the door for you .
You put your seatbelts on and looked over at Jake who started the car , with the tears running down his cheek and it broke you to see him like that .
"Jake-" you cry , placing your hand on his lap as he didn't even look at you . He couldn't.
"I don't know how- how I'm going to do it y|n without you" Jake said ,his voice choked in between and shaky . As he tried not to breakdown into tears .
"I can't even be strong enough to let you go. Now you've seen me cry you're gonna feel worse" Jake spoke, the tears flowing down his chin and neck already.
