You ran into the bar with Jake just before the rain could start pouring, laughing at him as you watched him shake out the little water in his damp hair .
You looked around the bar and noticed it was full , packed in fact . But someone caught your eye almost immediately.
You stared at him in awe , until you noticed the guy next to the person your were staring at . You began to tear up .
"Oh my god" you said , covering your mouth , staring at the two individuals that paractically shaped you just a couple years ago .
"Babe what's wrong" Jake asked, but you couldn't care less to answer. Because it was your two bestfriends from high-school They were part of you , they were the other half of you .
"David!? Ashton!?" You whispered as you approached them , your palm still over your mouth , tears in your eyes .
"Holy shit y|n!?" David gasped before he grabbed your into a hug , lifting you off the floor like he used too.
"Oh my god what are you guys going here!?" You ask as David puts you down as you turned to hug Ashton , Your other bestfriend .
Thing was y'all knew eachother from so long , there was one time David had a crush on you . And then another time that Ashton did too . And there was a time when you had a crush on each of them too .
You never romantically went into liking David too much because he was very much the annoying brother type . But you and Ashton had a history no one but the both of you knew about.
"Why are you crying!?" Ashton asked , almost yelling through the loud music of the live band playing.
"I don't know I'm so overwhelmed! I never expected to see y'all again" you said , smiling as you wiped your face .
"Well you would have if you stayed in touch" David said , you looked over at Ashton and he looked away .
"Stuff got hard for me so I cut eveyone off" you said . It wasn't a lie , that was partly the reason you stopped talking to them .
"Its fine. You're here now . Stop crying how much did you drink?" David laughed as he put his arm over your shoulder.
"I literally just got in I'm not even a little drunk" you laughed back as Ashton handed you a drink .
You immediately turned back when you remembered Jake was there with you , he stood there confused and a little pissed . David's hand slid off you as you moved to Jake .
"Jake- these are my friends from high school" you said as you wrapped your arms around his waist, almost tearing up again at the sight of them .
"That's Ashton and he's David" you showed Jake excitedly .
"Oh nice to meet you" the boys said to Jake and he nodded at them dryly .
"Guys this is my boyfriend Jake" you introduced and you noticed Ashton had a forced smile on . You and Ashton had unresolved stuff and y'all stopped talking on weird terms .
"You can grow facial hair now what the fuck !? You look so much more manly! Where'd all these muscles come from?" you asked in awe as you noticed how much David had changed.
