The student council meeting room was silent, the silence heavy.
"I suggest a school party. It'll be beneficial for the school atmosphere if we have all the students socialize and have fun." Noelle broke the silence.
The group had been discussing possible events for the school. More events meant more school spirit. "I agree! It'll be so fun~!" Hu Tao giggled.
Kazuha nodded. "We can have people in the 'Leaders' Club to help out. That way we'll have more hands to help out with planning and decorating."
The Leaders Club was a special club meant for students who show excellent leadership qualities, but aren't ready to become student council. Y/N found this group of people to be quite nice to be around, but others found them to be snobby.
"I don't know if I trust the Leaders Club to do such a large task. They are a bit stuck up." Xiao commented. "I don't like them."
"Xiao, you do realize that many people in the Leaders Club are running to become student council in the years to come? They are a younger version of us. The future of the school. I say that we hold this party." Ayaka stated.
"What's the setting of this party?" Y/N asked, a strand of her hair being twirled on her finger.
"This school is quite prestigious, therefore it shall be a highbrow party. Nothing like a ballroom, that's way out of our budget, but a 'dressy' party." Noelle said.
"Shall we issue out a dress code for the party?" Xiao asked. It sounded as if he gave up, a quiet sigh coming out of him.
—
"A party?" Tomo asked, staring at the flyer.
"How exciting!" Yoimiya snatched the colorful paper from his hands, studying it. "I'm going!"
Itto let out a boisterous laugh. "It seems like a fancy party, is this really your setting, Yoimiya?"
"Yes!" She yelled.
Heizou leaned on the wall, his glancing across the hallway at the girl he was so fond of. "Will she be there?"
Sara rolled her eyes. "Duh. She's literally going to be working at the party, considering she's apart of the people holding it. You'll see your lover girl there."
"We'll have tons of fun." Thoma said, chiming in. "I say we all go, and we can drive here to the party!"
"You guys realize that this isn't a club party? We'll be expected to show good etiquette there. Do you really think that anyone trusts you guys to do that?" Scaramouche scoffed. "Especially you, Itto."
"Can't hear ya, you're too short." Itto said before promptly getting a punch in the stomach.
Despite the bickering happening between his two friends, Heizou continued sneaking glances at Y/N. She seemed to have been talking to her friend, Noelle. He was practically in a trance.
"I expect you all to stop blocking the hallways, this instant." Ms. Baal always showed up at the worst times. The group immediately scrammed.
—
Heizou hid a headphone in his ear, not caring enough to pay attention in class. He glanced up at the board, looking at the random information. He knew all of this already, being forced into learning it all at a young age. He couldn't care less.
He looked over at Y/N, watching her look up at the board and then back down to continue writing notes. He knew that she already knew all of this already. She was probably pretending to take notes.
