Jude P.O.V
"Jude what were you thinking?!?" my mom yelled.
"What mom!"
"I need you to break up with her, immediately." she demanded crossing her arms.
"But mo-
"No buts. Do it now."
She groaned as she walked down the stairs warning me not to let a girl come in between my futbol career and my future.
"Hey Sarah can we talk?" I asked sighing.
"Y-yeah I was just about to sa-
"Okay look I'm going to be honest this isn't going to work out." I said pointing back and forth at the space in between us.
"What?" she asked giving me a frown.
"I'm sorry but I don't think it's worth it to have a girlfriend right now."
"So your putting your career over me?"
"Basically." I said scratching the back of my neck.
"I never once asked you to choose between me or your career but the fact that you treated me like this just makes me fucking hate you." she spat.
"Fuck you."
"Watch your mouth Sarah." I warned.
"What are you going to do about it ? Huh? Are you going to fight me." she retorted.
"Fuck off." I groaned rolling my eyes.
"Why are you so mean?" she whispered wiping her cheek.
"Sarah your putting me at an uncomfortable situation." I said sitting on the bed as she scooted further away from me.
"Kylian was right. You shouldn't be trusted." she admitted curling up on her side of the bed.
"Kylian?"
"He's one to talk." I scoffed.
"You know he tells everyone he's fucked you."
"Do you?" she asked looking at me through her lashes.
"I don't share my personal business with anyone."
"I find that hard to believe." she gritted through her teeth.
"Well believe it because it's true." I said getting annoyed.
"You should be grateful I'm even letting you stay here.
"Don't you live on the east side where the unprivileged stay?"
"Seriously Jude?" she asked getting up and looking at me with tears in her eyes.
"First you break up with me and then you call me poor to make yourself look better?"
"I fucking hate you." she sobbed grabbing her things and shoving them into her bag.
"Fuck Sarah I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that." I said attempting to stop her.
"I think you've said enough Jude."
"Thanks for letting me stay here but I think I'll find some other place." she muttered.
"Just stay please. It isn't safe for you to be out alone this late." I reassured her.
"Fuck you." she snorted giving me the finger before pushing past me and exiting the room.
This girl was going to be the death of me.
Kylian P.O.V
I got a call from Sarah that woke me up out of my sleep since she was crying really loud.
She told me what happened with Jude at his house and said she needed somewhere to stay which luckily worked out perfect for me since Natalie wasn't staying the night and chose to spend it at her house today.
I hated spending nights with her but she insisted on doing so to get used to sharing a bed since we would need to when we became parents later on.
"Sorry for showing up so unexpected." she mumbled dropping her bags to the floor as soon as she entered my house.
"There's always room for you here." I sighed closing the door.
"J-Jude broke up with m-me." she sobbed putting both hands over her face at an attempt to drown out her noises.
"C'mere." I said pulling her into a hug.
As much as I hated that name come out of her mouth I didn't want to start right now because she was already upset about Jude and I didn't want to make it worse.
"I should've listened t-to y-you." she said trying to speak over her sobs.
"It doesn't matter now I'm just glad your here." I whispered picking her up so her legs were around my waist and carrying her to my bedroom.
I laid her down and helped her take off her hoodie so she could sleep comfortably on the bed.
"I'll sleep on the couch."
"M'kay." she muttered before drifting off to sleep so quickly.
"Guess she just needed a good night's sleep." I thought to myself while making my bed on the couch.
"I went on Instagram trying to fall asleep and stumbled upon Jude's new story post.
And when I clicked it...it was the last thing I expected to happen tonight.
Natalie and Jude were together.
