Chapter 36

Kylian P.O.V

I woke up in a sweaty mess only to look outside and see pitch black darkness. I grabbed my phone assuming I had woken up in the middle of the night and checked the time.

It was 2:05 a.m.

I groaned and turned back over putting my phone down and got up to run to the restroom to wash my face with cold water in an attempt to wake myself up after my horrible dream.

My dream included everyone and we were all at the school dance.

For some strange reason Gavi and Sarah were dancing together and he tried to kiss here and then some time after that Sarah and I saw each other after not talking the whole night and broke up.

And then I had turned back around to say something to Sarah but it was too late because something caught my eye and I woke up.

It felt so real though.

"Oh well I should get some sleep for school tomorrow since it's out last day after all." I sighed hopping back under my comforters.

Sarah P.O.V

Tonight was the school dance and I had absolutely nothing to wear. Neither in my closet nor in my head.

I couldn't even think of an outfit. I was too busy with other things to even look.

I didn't sleep all that well last night because I had the strangest dream. Kylian and I got into a huge argument causing us to break up. It was over Natalie and Gavi...

For some strange reason Gavi was flirting with me in my dream and even tried to kiss me. It was weird because Gavi used to hate me and then all of a sudden in my dream he was being all lovey.

But I shook it off and went to go get ready for the last day of school, deciding that I'll look for an outfit when I come home from todays lesson.

Jude P.O.V

The last day of school couldn't get by any slower and I wanted this day to be over with already. I didn't want to go to that stupid dance anymore. It was just going to be lame.

A bunch of girls were throwing themselves at me as always to get a chance to go with me to the dance but I rejected them all because I had no interest in any whatsoever.

Nobody had my interest at this school except for Sarah and well that didn't turn out so well. I knew what I was getting myself into when I started pursuing her but I didn't know her feelings for Kylian ran so deep.

She's still with him even thought he's having a child with another girl which that by itself basically screams that she loves him no matter what.

I would do anything to have a girl like Sarah but she'd made it clear she didn't want to be with me no matter what. Even after what she went through to with Kylian.

And I knew she was coming to the dance tonight and of course he's going to be there too.

Which is another reason I've added onto my list of reasons why I don't want to attend that lame dance.

"Yo Jude.  Can I speak with you real quick?" Kylian said with a serious look on his face.

"Yeah what's up?" I asked.

"Do you still have feelings for Sarah?"

"Why?"

"Just tell me yes or no." he said getting impatient.

"Yeah I do. What'r are you gonna do about it Mbappe." I scoffed.

"Nothing. I want you to take her to the dance tonight at our school." he nonchalantly said.

"Why?"

"Because I said so." he mumbled walking off once he spotted his best friend Gavi.

The fuck was that about?

"Now I have to find Sarah." I groaned walking into my next class of the day.

Sarah P.O.V

Kylian had been avoiding me for the whole school day.

I even sent him a bunch of texts but he left them all on read and didn't even heart them or like them. He basically wanted me to know that he was ignoring me which was strange because I thought we were on good terms.

I sighed as I closed my locker and grabbed my books for Spanish class which I had with Kylian and Jude. I felt sick and didn't want to go ever since Kylian had been ignoring me but I couldn't skip the last day so I went on and walked into class.

Everyone was already there and I was one of the last students to walk in and as soon as I did my teacher started class early.

I sat in my usual seat in front of Kylian's and he looked at me briefly as I sat down. I was feeling more uncomfortable than ever but I let out a deep breath and told myself not to overthink.

Maybe he was going through something with Natalie about the baby?

Whatever it was I wasn't letting it ruin my day.

"All right student s before we start class today. Natalie has an announcement to make for tonight's dance." my teacher said as she went back to sit on her seat while Natalie made her way to the front of the class.

She made her way passing by our row just so she could say hi to Kylian and giggle when he acknowledged hee as well.

Why is he talking to her and not me?

"As you all know I was in charge of the voting for our prom queen and I have the results here in my hand."

"Without further introduction I would like to announce our schools prom queen of 2023 and the winner is...."

She paused before opening her mouth again and closed it shut letting out a growl, rolling her eyes when she opened her mouth again.

"Winner is Sarah Kovani." she spat rolling her eyes as the whole class erupted in cheers and whistles for me.

"What the hell." I half smiled shocked to see that I won.

I looked around the classroom and saw all my students cheering me on and giving me huge smiles along with Jude.

But when I looked to Kylian he had on a blank face and was busy on his phone to even look up.

"Are you going to be a bitch and not even congratulate me?" I asked deeply annoyed by his attitude the whole day.

"I'm going to the prom with Natalie." he said.

"Is that why you've been ignoring me?" I asked.

"No. It's because Natalie's parents want us to get married. For our baby's sake."

"W-what.....?"

And just like that...everything went quiet and I couldn't see anyone or hear anything but Kylian and I.

I didn't know how to respond but I had a feeling he agreed to this commitment just by the way he was looking at me and ignoring me the whole day.

what's going on?? omg do we think kylian will actually go thru w this or break it off. and will jude and sarah get back together or will kylian and sarah find their way back to each other yet again?
