Chapter 37

Sarah P.O.V

I couldn't believe what I had heard. Kylian's parents wanted Natalie and him to get married for the sake of their kid.

And he told me he agreed to it in hopes for a better future for his child. But to me that didn't seem fair at all. I was even ready to treat his kid like my own just for his sake but then he threw this on me.

After he told me he immediately went back to his phone and didn't speak to me for the rest of the class but neither did I. I couldn't stand to look at him after what I had just heard.

He didn't even seem remorseful about it which was the worst part about this whole situation.

"Hey Sarah do you mind if we can go somewhere private to talk?" Jude said coming up to me, snapping me out of my dazed state.

"U-uh yeah I guess." I sighed.

"So I wanted to ask if you have a date for the dance?"

"You want to go with me to the dance...?" I retorted.

"Yeah."

"Okay well I'm probably not going to the dance anyways. Sorry." I mumbled getting ready to leave this hell of a school forever.

"Wait don't go yet." he said gently tugging my hand to pull me close to him so that I was pressed against his chest and his hand was on my back.

"What are you doing Jude." I whispered looking away from his eyes that were staring right at me.

"I'm sorry about that night at the party."

"I don't know what I was doing. I know you have feelings for Kylian but I wanted to know if you'd still give me a chance and go to this dance with me?" he asked putting his finger underneath my chin to meet his eyes.

We were so close I could practically feel his lips brush against mine as he spoke.

"Okay but just as friends Jude." I whispered before pulling away from him.

"Alright. I can accept that." he nodded pursing his lips.

"I'll pick you up at 7 then?"

"Sure." I said giving him a weak smile.

I didn't even have a dress for tonight.

Kylian P.O.V

My life was turning to shit as the days went by. It felt like my days couldn't get any worse than they were until today happened.

The only reason I asked Jude that favor was to make Sarah realize Jude was the one she needed even if I hated the idea. I didn't want her to be too upset over my decision even though it wasn't my choice.

My mother also got convinced by Natalie's mom that it wouldn't make sense if Sarah and I stayed together while Natalie and I co-parented. At first my mother was strongly against the idea of Natalie and I being a couple.

Because my mom loved Sarah and excepted me to propose to her one day. But then after some convincing words from Natalie's bimbo mother she got encouraged to put us two together for the baby's sake.

I didn't think it was a good idea at all but I said yes to it in the moment and couldn't back out now. It was too late because Natalie's mom already started making arrangements for our wedding.

Sarah didn't even know about that and I was scared that if she did find out. She would hate me forever which is why I kept my mouth shut. But who I didn't trust was Natalie.

I had a feeling she would spill it one way or another but I didn't want to stick around to find out.

"Kylian your going to be late if your not ready in 20 minutes." my mom yelled from downstairs.
