A loud knock on the door made the still sleepy Alastaire got up from her bed. yawning loudly and stretching her arms, she hop off and put on her bunny slippers and open the door before the person knocking blast it to pieces."Oh thank the heavens that God didn't forgot to wake you up!"
the pissed-off face of her best friend, Carlotta showed up, arms crossed on her chest with one eyebrow raised. Alas yawned once again, timidly scratching her nape.
"sorry, Lottie. I slept late last night." Alastaire shyly replied. "paperworks , you know."
Lottie just shook her head, smiling. she just shrug her shoulders.
"nah. as if I'm not used to it already." Lottie said to her. she just smiled awkwardly, too. "anyway, let me in you squid. are you my friend or what?"
Alastaire chuckled, stepping back a little. She opened her door wide enough for her best friend to come in.
upon entering her room, her friend's expression immediately went poker-face upon seeing the state of calamity in her bedroom.some of her things are everywhere on the floor like empty ink bottles, pens, pencils, manga comics to her dirty laundry spilling from the basket. if you'd look at it, you'd think that a boy addicted to online games who hates cleaning lives here---not a tidy, clean- freak girl.
"now, now Alas----i may be forgetful, but I'll never forget the fact that this is your bedroom, not your old warehouse." Lottie said, giving her the side-eye of disbelief. "gracious, young lady. are you a scavenger or what? "
instead of answering, Alas chose to sit down on her chair and read. then, at the corner of her eyes, she saw her best friend pick up the pile of rubbish and throw it away.
shaking her head, Alastaire just got her headset on and let her friend rant and rant. she's used to it , a long time ago.
