her fear happened. and no---its not that her secret is out . she's still in the closet,and probably will hide there forever. her fear pertains to Darlene--- the woman whom her rainbow heart screams for years and years now.
she saw her, one late afternoon in September. she was going out of her dorm to be off to work when she saw her first, true love walking down their street in her office uniform. she got her smile ready, the brightest she ever had and waved at her.
yes,she did wave at her. they're friends, not to mention neighboors here in Calle Marfa. Alas beamed at the love of her life and her heart jumped for joy when Darlene warmly greeted her back.
but she noticed that she was holding hands with someone--- a woman. she was dressed in a white long-sleeve button-up polo and navy-blue slacks.
"oh. you have company. who is she? a friend?" she said,looking at the woman who gave her a smile. she smile back,too. in fairness, she's pretty.
but at that moment, Alas wished she didn't asked. for Darlene's answered really broke her heart...
